Diesel was reclaimed by his owner! He was such a good boy for his Rabies vaccination. Thanks to Warrick Veterinary Clinic for fitting him in last minute! Thank you ACO Barnes, Broshears and Soberg for staying late once again to help him get back home tonight!!!!
Update- Good Wednesday Morning! Doja has expressed Lots and Lots of worms! No more blood in her feces and her gums are slightly pink! As a fighter you know she’s a little sassy and likes to tell you all about it!
This Tuesday morning she started with blow out hemmorrhagic diarrhea and we can’t rule out parvo without testing even though she had a solid stool yesterday. She probably needs to start IV fluids.
This little 6 week old Pit Mix puppy was found as a stray in Boonville. She is very underweight, severly anemic and her core body temperature was 96.4!!! Normal body temperature for dogs and cats is 101.0 to 102.5°F (38.3 to 39.2°C). Some people and some pets maintain a baseline temperature a little above or below the average, but if your pet's temperature rises above 104°F (40.0°C) or falls below 99°F (37.2°C), take your pet to your veterinarian. She is currently at the vet getting supportive care. We have named her Doja. If you can help with her care please consider a donation in any amount! Thank you!
