What better way to present their presents than in a charming keepsake stocking that can be used year after year?

Generously sized to hold lots of goodies, our pet stockings are handcrafted of 100% New Zealand wool and non-toxic dyes by talented artists in Nepal. A festive "Fair Trade Holiday" tag is attached to the hanging loop.

Wow!! Last Sunday's Maker's Market at Thompson's Point far exceeded our expectations, with a fabulous turnout and eclectic array of 100 artists and makers from Maine and beyond. Sales were very brisk for High Tail Toys ... Amy, Jody, and I barely paused all day, ringing up sales, bagging goodies, and restocking.

We look forward to returning on Sunday, 11/24. Please come visit us between 10 am - 3 pm!

Our booth will be bursting with cat caves (over 100 new ones expected in stock with some cool designs), unique cat toys and cat attractants, and gorgeous holiday decor (ornaments, pet stockings, and garland).

As always, you can expect high quality, handcrafted New Zealand wool felted products from us. We design a lot of the items; everything is certified Fair Trade, and 20% of our net profits benefit Midcoast Humane, our wonderful shelter in Brunswick.

There are many wonderful aspects to the Maker's Markets, and one is the ever rotating array of top notch vendors. These events allow small businesses to SHINE, so please, consider shopping small and local this holiday season to support our hard work and creativity.

Greetings, Cat Lovers!

People have been asking where to find High Tail Toys this Fall. Below is our Show Schedule from now through December 2024. We have all kinds of wonderful products to enrich your feline friends' lives, as well as your own.

We're excited to offer both our staple products, including a wide range of stunning cat caves and unique cat toys, along with new offerings like decorative garlands, birdhouses, and plant pots. We've also expanded our popular line of Christmas ornaments and finger puppets, with more than 100 of each design. All these goodies are handcrafted of 100% New Zealand wool and Fair Trade certified. Many are designed by us.

Please join High Tail Toys at the 56th Annual Fall Foliage Festival at the Boothbay Railway Village this weekend! Hours are 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, and 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. on Sunday.

A grand tradition, the Festival offers young and old alike opportunity to explore the historic buildings and exhibits, enjoy a train ride, sample scrumptious food from many vendors, listen to great music, begin holiday shopping with artisans and makers, and support worthy non-profits. Come catch up with old friends and make new ones while you enjoy the changing foliage and crisp autumn air.

It's gonna be a busy, holly jolly weekend for High Tail Toys, with TWO events! Come join us, along with a number of other talented makers and artists. There's sure to be something for everyone on your list!

WHERE WILL WE BE?

On Saturday, December 2nd, we return to the North Yarmouth Academy Craft Fair at the NYA Gymnasium (154 Main Street, Yarmouth, ME) from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. This show features over 50 vendors and lunch is available. Profits from booth rentals allow the NYA Parents' Association to fulfill grant requests and support important programming.

On Sunday, December 3rd, you can find us at the 50th Annual Spirit of Christmas Fair at the Bath Middle School (6 Old Brunswick Road, Bath, ME) from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. This show offers over 75 vendors, photos with Santa, and delicious concessions. Profits from booth rentals and food/beverages benefit local youth.

WHAT DO WE OFFER?

We will have a large assortment of colorful Cat Toys and Cat Caves, along with Catnip products from Maine favorite Dr. Pussums, and Silvervine by Shady Cat Social Club.

Our NEW Holiday Ornaments are literally flying off the display trees. These charming pieces are sure to become treasured collectibles for generations to come.

Need stocking stuffers for the children? Our large selection of felted wool Finger Puppets will keep them entertained for hours. Collections include Barnyard Buddies, Forest Friends, Jungle Jamboree, Magic Meadow, and more.

For the teens and tweens in your life, we have Slingshot Kits, complete with 20 of our soft, signature Looney Balls. How FUN! They're gentle enough for indoor play with the cats and kids. Also a hit with significant others, as we have discovered.

Our 100% New Zealand wool products are free of toxic dyes and certified Fair Trade. Many are designed by us in Boothbay, and all are individually handcrafted by talented female artisans in Nepal.

Amy and I were truly gratified by the reception High Tail Toys received at last Sunday's Maker's Market at Thompson's Point. Customers were lined up all day to purr-chase Cat Caves and Cat Toys for their beloved pets, or to give as holiday gifts. Our new line of handcrafted Wool Ornaments was also a HUGE hit!!

High Tail Toys is looking forward to being a first-time vendor at the 2023 Maine Harvest Festival, held at the Cross Insurance Arena in Bangor on November 18th - 19th. High Tail Toys is back for Day 2 of the Fall Foliage Festival at the Boothbay Railway Museum! It's a beautiful Fall day here. We will be here until 4:00 p.m., with our booth set up in the Town Hall.
