BOOTHBAY clients; Summer is here!! It’s busy season! I am currently booking out to the week of July 22nd. I only have a few openings that week. I’ve stopped accepting new big dogs for the Boothbay location because I just don’t have room in my schedule.

If you are a regular client, please book ALL of your summer grooms ahead of time if you want to stay on a schedule. I know a lot of you have already booked out for the year, and I appreciate you all so so much. Call or fb message me to get your pup on the schedule for the summer 🐶💜

I’m sorry to have to do this, but I need to start being strict on my no show policy.

If you are a new client, and you no show.. unfortunately you will be unable to book future services with me. Most of my no shows are new clients who book an appointment with me, shop around for a different price/ day etc, but they never call me back to cancel the appointment they booked.

If you are already a client of mine, but you no show.. you will need to pay for the missed appointment in full, before being able to book future services.

Im a self employed one parent household. I am not paid by the hour, I am paid by the dog. These last minute cancellations and no shows are KILLING your service providers. This time of year, it is so easy for me to fill an appointment slot, even if you cancel last minute. I always try to understand emergencies but these are getting excessive.

I love all of my Boothbay doggies & doggie parents. I drive 1 hr one way, just to love up on your doggies. I had THREE no shows today, after driving 2 hrs round trip. I value your time and reserve this spot for you, please value mine and give proper notice if you need to change an appointment.

Love to you all, but also… give me a heads up if you can’t make your appointment. It truly hurts my heart having to implement this strict no show policy, so please just give me notice.. even if it’s 1hr 💗

I just want to give a quick shout out to Timber & his amazing pet parents!

I started grooming timber April 2023. Timber is a very timid but loving boy (as long as you’re not trying to touch his feet or bring the clippers near his head 🤣). The grooming process has been a challenge for Timber, but with consistency (grooming every 4-6 weeks) & patience.. Timber finally let me give him a small feather trim up today, along with his normal bath & nail trim 🎉 🐶

So thankful for his pet parents being patient & keeping him on a regular grooming schedule. 💜
