Show Me Western Designs started in 1993 as the dream of Donna Weatherspoon. After years of designing and sewing show clothes for both her daughter and granddaughter, Donna decided to venture out and start a full time business. Donna's partner in the business is her daughter, Carolyn Horning. Carolyn has been successfully showing Pinto and Paint horses since 1968. Her horses have accumulated both APHA World Championships and Top Ten honors along with numerous Northwest Futurity titles. Donna has an incredible ability to design and make outfits that are eye appealing and comfortable for the show pen in showmanship and horsemanship events! She also has the knowledge to formulate a well fitting outfit for our plus size customers! Carolyn designs the Show Me Western line of jewelry, makes the custom chaps and is the buyer for the coordinating saddle pads and handbags. Carolyn is currently working on various judge's cards and has a following of youth riders under her instruction. Many custom horse show designers don't even own a horse, this one rides, shows, trains and instructs, so our products are constantly being tested for style, durability and cost
