A year ago I was debating on what stud to use with Lennox because there are so many beautiful boys out there and so many amazing breeders. I started talking to Heather with Crowd Pleazer Frenchies earlier last year about Benny and how beautiful he is and possibly using him. Well Lennox was still a puppy and hadn’t had her 1st heat yet. With everything that was going on and life in general, I put it on the back burner. So when I started looking again, I saw Hannibal from Peerless French Bulldogs
which is Benny’s son 😍 So I decided to reach out to Jacqueline and locked in this handsome stud to use for one of our 2023 breedings with Lennox.
When I talked to Jacqueline these are all the things she mentioned about Gr. Ch. Hannibal at the Gates is the only (and youngest) lilac 2nd generation Grand Champion French Bulldog in ABKC history or any other registry to our knowledge. His health certifications are exceedingly rare as a colored stud, let alone a lilac. Not only is he OFA CHIC but also sired by an OFA CHIC stud with EXCELLENT hips, a dam with OFA GOOD hips, and Hannibal boasts THE TIGHTEST PAIR OF HIPS in the OFA database FOR THE BREED as scored by PennHIP!

He is of course genetically versatile being a quad carrier but his well rounded and balanced structure truly sets him apart from the competition. His phenomenal temperament, clear and easy breathing, beautiful movement and lack of allergies are not to be ignored either.
We will be breeding him to Lennox. Lennox parents are Burklee and Type R. Her grandsire is Slevin and her great grandsire is Buff who has won championships in 22 countries.
