We have several options available to help keep your pet calm and safe this 4th of July -but don't wait! We only have TODAY and TOMORROW and then it's just going to be you, your pet.... and a whole lot of booming regrets. 💥😳

If your pet hates the booms, bangs, and sizzles of fireworks, give us a call to stock up on anxiety meds so you can enjoy the festivities in peace. 🌭💥

If your pet hasn't been to visit us in the last year, call sooner rather than later so we can fit you in for an annual check up! Our doctors need to make sure your furr babies are still in tip top shape (and cute as a button) to prescribe meds. 🐾

Just another day at NLVC -where even regular check ups come with a side of cuteness.

This sweet filly may only be a few months old, but she walked in with confidence, curiosity, and a healthy dose of personality (almost enough to match our doctors😉). Her visit included a thorough exam, a little encouragement from mom, and plenty of admiration from our team!

We are proud to support our equine patients at every stage -from the earliest of reproduction stages (AI) to their first wobbly steps and beyond.

We are so grateful to our clients who trust us with their animals -large or small. We love them all! ❤🐾🐴🐮

Newborn foals don’t get antibodies from their mothers during pregnancy—they get them from their first milk, called colostrum. But sometimes, that’s not enough.

That’s where plasma comes in.

Today we ran plasma to a newborn foal to help jumpstart their immune system and give them the best possible start. Plasma transfusions can be life-saving for foals at risk of infection, helping protect them from serious illness in those critical first days.

¡Pawty like it’s Cinco de Mayo!
Your dog deserves a muy refrescante treat too, and we’ve got just the thing: BARK-ARITAS.
No booze. No limes. Just pure tail-waggin’ goodness.

Ingredients:
• Chicken broth
• Ice cubes
• Cucumber slice for garnish (your dog is fancy now)

Blend it smooth or serve it on the rocks. Either way, your pup’s about to bark “¡SALUD!”

Meet Carl, our April Pet of the Month and possibly the most productive employee we’ve ever had.

When he’s not herding imaginary sheep, Carl is keeping the clinic in line with his laser focus, impeccable manners, and “yes ma’am, no ma’am” energy.

We asked Carl what his favorite treat is and he said, “The satisfaction of a job well done.”
