We are a local, non-profit cat rescue in Shreveport with the mission of providing medical care and adoption services for homeless and unwanted cats and kittens. This sweet kitten was found in the road and has a broken leg :( He needs an amputation soon, and we are trying to raise funds for this surgery. We have had many people find injured cats and kittens recently and the bills are stacking up! We really appreciate your help! He is safe in a foster home and ready to get that leg off so he start feeling better.

These guys are at high risk of euthanasia at caddo animal control. Since all kennels there are full, if new ones come in, they will be euthanized to make room. They are already fixed and vetted. Would anyone want to foster a couple of these for a few weeks while we make some room at the rescue ?
These cats were abandoned or surrendered due to reasons such as moving to a new home or not having time for pets. It's so unfair cats have to lose their lives for reasons like this. Please treat your cats like family, not something to throw away so easily.
This kitty slipped outside someone's home on Friday and is still missing. Location is across from BPCC in Bossier at Pepper Point. Let us know if you see him!

2 WEEK FOSTERS NEEDED
Hey! We have taken in 7 kitties that are going on a transport to a northern rescue on August 15th. We need fosters for them to keep them healthy until then. Would anyone be able to foster a couple of these cats ? We could have 1 to 3 in a foster home, etc.
We have some exciting news !!
We have moved to a new location, and we love it so much!! A dentist retired and put his building up for sale. An amazing couple bought the building for us, and we have spent the last 9 months going through Bossier City zoning meetings and intense renovations. It has been quite the project, and it has turned out better than we could have imagined. Check out all the pictures after and before renovations ! We believe the cats will enjoy this space as we have utilized wall space and outdoor catios to help provide enrichment, and we also focused on making the facility very easy to clean. We plan to have an open house next month and will update you on the date soon! Our new address is 3002 Shed Rd Bossier City.

This spring, made a $12,500 grant to our organization! We are so grateful for the work PetcoLove does for rescues around the country and their continued support of our organization. We have been able to use that investment to give cats needed surgeries for injuries, spay and neuter countless kitties, and take in hundreds of kittens this kitten season!

Hey guys! We need temporary fosters for some kittens whose fosters are going out of town. The litter of 4 will be gone Friday until next Saturday. The litter of 2 leaves tomorrow morning and returns Monday. Can anyone help? They are so sweet!
Louise is looking for a long term foster or adopter! She is scared at the rescue with all the other cats and won't eat there. She has done great in her current foster home and has really opened up. She is a talker and enjoys her wet food and relaxing in quiet areas in the home. Please let us know if you can help! She is such a doll!
KITTEN ADOPTIONS ON BASE TOMORROW!
We will have lots of kittens up for adoption Saturday from 11 to 2 on Barksdale Base at the BX. If you live on base or have base access, come see us !!
Also, a portion of sales proceeds from Chantli Tamalli tomorrow at the BX will be donated towards our rescue !
Stop dumping cats outside our rescue. 5 cats were crammed into a carrier left outside for we don't know how long. It is June. With temperatures in the high 90s. These cats could have died of heat stroke.. There is even a sign on our door saying not to abandon animals there. Do better.

Nova is looking for her home! Her foster wrote a little about her !.......
Nova is a three month old black beauty who will entertain you with her circus antics and then curl up and make biscuits on your shoulder until she falls asleep. After nap time, she will expect food in her tummy, pets on her head, maybe some snuggles, definitely more silly moves and then probably another nap. Her personality is a bit peculiar, but she will always communicate what she wants/needs. When she “attacks” your leg, indicating it is time to eat, she may look like a baby martial arts master, but she doesn’t use her claws, so it is merely “aww” inducing. Nova is one of the sweetest babies we have had the pleasure of fostering, and if we had not already committed to the five cats in our family, she would not be leaving our home. If you are looking for a special addition, consider meeting this little girl. She loves dogs (especially her Aussiedoodle pal, Gus, her nap partner), gets along with other cats of all shapes and sizes and has been raised with children.
Foster(s) needed! We have a single kitten and a litter of 4 needing fostering. The current fosters are leaving town or moving next week. Would anyone be able to foster these or split between two fosters ?

We are in need of people to clean our Petsmart Youree Drive adoption cages on Saturday and Sundays and for someone to clean our Petco Youree Drive adoption cages on Mondays. Please let us know if you would be interested in helping any of these days! It doesn't take long, and it's a great way to volunteer and hang out with some of our cats!

Wobbles was rescued from Terrebonne Parish Animal Shelter last Friday after his time was up there. They did not have time or resources for this special needs cat. He has a terrible wound on his leg and also has a condition called Cerebellar Hypoplasia, which causes balance and coordination problems. This condition doesn't shorten their lives or cause them to be in pain. They can live wonderful lives with a loving and careful home! We will have to change his bandage daily for weeks as the wound is to the bone. However, he should make a full recovery! He will always have the balance issues, but is happy and loving and deserves a wonderful home!
