If I fit, I sit! Aria found a nice seat on top of our technician Ali during her appointment with Dr. Gurian today. First appointments can be a little intimidating for a 5 week old kitten so we are happy to see Aria comfortable while here 😻😸🐈

Back Bay Veterinary Clinic will be closed all day on 9/2 for Labor Day. We will have normal hours Tuesday 9/3 from 7am - 7pm. If you need assistance in refilling your companions’ food and prescription medication, please contact us in advance. Our GuardianVets Triage service will be able to answer your calls while we are closed.

After graduating from UC Davis College of Veterinary Medicine in May, Dr. Chapman has spent her summer getting to know Boston, trying some amazing food in the North End and spending time with her beloved companion, Indy. We know you will be in good, capable hands with Dr Chapman.

New best friends? I think so! Kacey, CVT, brought her foster pup Zulu in today and got to meet Clover, CVT Gabby’s cat. Both came in for ultrasounds scans, one abdominal and the other echocardiogram, with Dr. Graham.

Dr. Rosen brought in her pup Boone for a dental procedure today. Our surgical nurses Ali, Gabby, and Rachael, began by taking dental radiographs. Extractions were recommended, so Ali prepped him for the cleaning before Dr. Wheeler took over for extractions. Tomorrow we will follow up to see how he is recovering. He was such a good boy today!

Welcome the newest member of the Back Bay Vet family! Our office manager Kristine recently adopted Blue from Last Hope K9, and safe to say the whole staff is in love 😍 He enjoys napping, the Hide-a-Squirel toy, playing in the office; dislikes when we stop petting him

Goblin has completed his bandaged changes appointments 🥳 We posted back beginning of May that he had a visit at VEG. Since then, Goblin has been coming in every week to see Dr. Wang, Dr. Edwards and our relief vet Dr. Rosen for bandage rechecks. Happy to say his metatarsals have healed, and no doubt he will be excited to have the bandages off.

Dr. Wheeler had to get a little creative in altering Mouse’s onesie to stop him from licking his leg. Sometimes with IV catheters it cause irritation, so our technician Ali had to pull out her sewing skills to lengthen sleeve 🪡

Poor Goblin had to get a bandage change following a Veterinary Emergency Group visit 🤕🩼. Dr. Wang and her team had to make sure his cast look cute until next week’s bandage change 🐾🐘. It may take Goblin a little getting use to walking but glad he is on the mends 💪
