Check out Raffi, a new patient at our Brookline Location. Raffi was the bravest patient with Dr. Dylan; they were able to be handled and examined without escalation in fear, anxiety and stress.
We are encouraging pet parents to exercise caution in the extreme heat during this week’s unprecedented temperatures in Boston!
Here are some tips to keep your pets safe:
1. Never, ever leave a pet in the car.
2. Keep pets indoors in the AC or in the shade.
3. Provide free access to cool/room temperature water.
4. Avoid walking/hiking/running with dogs in the middle of the day, especially on hot pavement. Dogs with short noses are at high risk for overheating and it can happen very quickly!
5. Avoid dog parks during a heat wave.

Meet Dr. Lindsay!
Dr. Lindsay Gallagher is a University of Pennsylvania graduate with a passion for pet behavior. She recently completed her residency and will soon earn board certification in behavior, making her an expert in the
field. The entire BVC team is very proud of her!
Dr. Lindsay loves meeting new people, traveling to new places, and learning new things, like playing the guitar, juggling, and improv comedy. If she was a dog, she’d definitely be a Jack Russell terrier - she’s short, spunky,
and bursting with energy!
Whether you’re looking for advice on behavioral concerns or are just due to bring your furry friend in for an annual exam, Dr. Lindsay is based out of our Brookline location and is here to help!
