To our valued community,
As we celebrate our 8th business birthday (time flies when you’re having fun!), we want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you. It’s been an incredible journey, and we are so thankful for your trust, loyalty, and the opportunity to care for your beloved dogs.

From the very beginning, our mission has been to provide a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where your dogs thrive. You have trusted us, believed in us and most importantly supported my dream.
We are excited to continue this journey with you and your dogs, and we look forward to many more years of being your dogs home away from home.

This last year has been incredibly difficult for myself as I have had to learn to pivot caring for two terminal dogs (rest in paradise, Lucy) and running a business. Without my astounding staff, I wouldn’t have been able to be there for my own dogs during these difficult times. A major round of applause for the human beings who make Harbor Hounds what it is, we certainly wouldn’t be here without them. Or you.

Forever isn’t long enough 🌈 Vader, Lindsay’s heart dog passed over the rainbow bridge last evening. Vader came into Lindsay’s life a few years ago as a rescue and was finally able to find a forever home with her. We will miss him greatly. Please keep Lindsay in your prayers during this difficult time🩷

Today at 1pm Chief’s mom, friends and myself held him as he passed over. Chief has been a part of Harbor Hounds since we first opened. He came every day. Chief was an old soul; he was tolerant, loving and kind to everyone. I’m lucky enough to have spent the time I did with him and his mom, Rosa. Chief and Rosa quickly became family over the years and it’s something I will cherish forever. Every dog that has stepped into harbor hounds has been friends with Chief. Chief passed over in a HH collar that we made sure smelt like all of his friends that he loved so much. That collar will be with him forever as a reminder of how much he was loved. Please keep Chief’s mom in your prayers, she loved that dog more than anything in this entire world. So did we. ❤️rest the sweetest peace, Chief.
