This week we'd like to introduce you to Meelo. Meelo's dad was half Maine C**n, and his mom was a calico chimera cat. He's got a lot going on! Let's find out more about this cool cat:

"If you could have dinner with any famous pet, who would it be and why?"
🐱: The internet celebrity “Grumpy Cat”. I’m looking to learn the art of grumpy cat as I age out of my youth.

"Do you have a celebrity doppelgänger?"
🐱: Cruella de Vil, or the cartoon I’m named after (Meelo).

"Do you have any quirks?"
🐱: I hate all human food except lettuce and potato chips.

"Do you have any special talents?"
🐱: My special talent is that I love to travel, and my mom takes me on many adventures.

"Who is your best friend?"
🐱: My mommy is my best friend. I also like her ex-boyfriend and future boyfriends. Because, like my mom, I don’t care who you are, I just want attention!

"If you could have any superpower, what would it be?"
🐱: Shoot laser beams out of my eyes so I could catch all the birds outside my window.

"If you weren't a dog, what animal would you be?"
🐱: I would be a giraffe so I could always have a bird's eye view on all my surroundings. I wouldn’t be a bird because they are my sworn enemy.

"What's your favorite thing to do with your human?"
🐱: I love when my mom parties all night and then spends the next day in bed with me. I also am leash trained, and enjoy a good adventure behind my studio apartment exploring the trash in the alleyway.

"What's your biggest fear?"
🐱: They will discontinue Nulo lickable treats. My mom often calls them cat Gogurts.

Living Free® is a nonprofit animal sanctuary whose primary mission is to rescue animals whose time is up at public shelters. 🐶: Oscar Meyer Mascot, because I’m one hot dog!

"Do you have any quirks?"
🐶: A cry whenever I see my friends - I assume everyone wants a hug when they say hello! I like to lick my dads face at 2AM to say hello, too.

"Do you have any special talents?"
🐶: Will high five for cheese!

"What do you want to be when you grow up?"
🐶: Work alongside my fellow bellhop puppy lovers at the Fairmont Hotel (extra treats please!)

"Who is your best friend?"
🐶: My pawrents.

"If you could have any superpower, what would it be?"
🐶: To turn water into cheese.

"If you weren't a dog, what animal would you be?"
🐶: A Boston Public Garden squirrel.

"What's your favorite thing to do with your human?"
🐶: I love to walk my humans to the dog park, pulling them everywhere we go. Don’t forget the Fairmont and UPS store on the way!

"What's your biggest fear?"
🐶: Spooky noises in our apartment.

"What's the most embarrassing thing your human has done to you?"
🐶: Insists on holding me like a baby in public! I’m a big dog!

🐱: I'd want to have dinner with Taylor Swift's cats because they definitely get spoiled rotten and I'd love to live the fancy life for a bit.

"Who is your celebrity doppelgänger?"
🐱: Ed Sheeran (he's orange too).

"Do you have any pet quirks?"
🐱: I like to attack people's ankles for no reason. And knock over water bowls.

"Do you have any special talents?"
🐱: I love to open drawers. My human had to put a baby-proof lock on the drawer that holds my treats.

"What do you want to be when you grow up?"
🐱: I want to be a rockstar, but I lack opposable thumbs, so that's kind of an obstacle.

"Who is your best friend?"
🐱: My human is my best friend, but also grandma, because she always sneaks me parts of her meals.

"If you could have a superpower what would it be and why?"
🐱: The power to fill my food bowl with my mind whenever I please!

"If you could be any other kind of animal, what would you be?"
🐱: I'm pretty happy being a cat, but if I weren't I would definitely be a tiger shark.

"What is your favorite thing to do with your human(s)?"
🐱: Cuddle and take naps with my dad (and bite his ankles while he's trying to sleep because I'm bored).

"What is your biggest fear?"
🐱: The grabber tool. Scary stuff, man, do not let that thing go near me!

🐱: He's dressed me in pajamas once and I was NOT amused.

Meet Tessie, our Dog of the Week! Tessie is a real sweetie, a black lab/pittie mix who just loves making people happy, but she's also got a lot of personality. Read on!

"If you could have dinner with any famous pet, who would it be and why?"
🐶: Probably Theodore, from Alvin and the Chipmunks. He seems really fun to play with, especially because of how kind, funny and sensitive he is (just like me!). I also think he would share his treats with me!

"Who is your celebrity doppelgänger?"
🐶: Probably Megan Fox because of how beautiful she is with her long black hair. She's also just really pretty like me!

"Do you have any pet quirks?"
🐶: I have the biggest and LOUDEST yawns you have ever seen or heard! I like to climb on the bed and sit on top of the pillows when my parents leave. I'll also carefully climb into bed next to mom when she knows dad is not getting back in bed. My parents think this is weird - I do a little "freak out" thing when you give me my favorite treat. It's like I'm so excited that I'm scared of it. When I need to show my displeasure I will give you the most judgmental look sometimes. If you go to the bathroom and don't let me in, I'll cry! My parents say my biggest one is that when I eat my food, I always take one bit of kibble, back away first, and then I'll start eating the rest. But what's so quirky about that?

"Do you have any special talents?"
🐶: My mom and dad say I have the best temperament ever, and that that is truly a talent

"What do you want to be when you grow up?"
🐶: I would want to be a sports therapist! I love to play and swim, AND I absolutely love making people happy. My dad is a physical therapist, and my mom is getting her masters to be a therapist. I'd love to be a bit of both of them!

"Who is your best friend?"
🐶: My mom, dad, and my dad's friend's dog Denver. I also love my brother-in-law, Fredward (he's a cute frenchie!)

"If you could have a superpower what would it be and why?"
🐶: My superpower would be reading minds, or an emotional whisperer. I am already so good at telling when my parents are sad, happy anxious, etc. While I already am good at making people happy, it would be cool to be able to bring joy to a room just by wagging my tail!

"If you could be any other kind of animal, what would you be?"
🐶: If I wasn't a dog, I would probably be a chipmunk. I already think I am 10x smaller than I already am, and I think living in smelly places would be awesome!

"What is your favorite thing to do with your human(s)?"
🐶: Hike, swim, walk, and definitely cuddle!

"What is your biggest fear?"
🐶: Loud noises :(!! When I get scared by noises I just want to cuddle!

"What's the most embarrassing thing your human has done to you?"
🐶: Mom puts me in a hot pink rain jacket with little duckies on it when it rains (I hate the rain, so I like it - but I do look silly!)
