Looking to hire two new walkers to join the team! 🐕‍🦺🦮 Stationed in Roslindale/West Roxbury/Chestnut Hill. One position is “full-time” and the other is more of a flex position. Details for each are as follows:

(1) 15-20hrs - $300-600/wk (to increase over time) M-F 10:00~2:30pm w/ additional evening and weekend visits optional (I would also be open to hiring two walkers to share this position if they could work alternating days!)

(2) flex position (more occasional/irregular) fill in for sick days and vacation. This will generally pay $200-800/month with option to take on additional evening and weekend hours for more consistent income.

Both positions pay per walk (combine visits to increase hourly earnings!🤑)

Requirements:
🚘 Reliable transportation
📱 Smart phone for schedule
⏱ Good time-management
🌦 Good energy, willing to walk in *all weather conditions* (excluding weather emergencies)
🐶 Experience preferred

Please note: This is not a short-term position. I am not looking to hire someone who wants to enjoy the summer and quit in the winter. Ideally looking for walkers willing to stay on for at least a year!

So very upsetting to hear 😢💔 our hearts are with Shipley’s loving mom who did absolutely everything she possibly could to try and bring this nervous boy home. There was an amazing TEAM out looking for him every step of the way 💕 if you see any flyers in your area, please help his grieving family by taking them down.

10/18/21 It is with heavy hearts we share that Shipley, missing from West Roxbury since 8/11, has been found and unfortunately did not make it. Shipley traveled great distances and covered many towns surrounding the Boston area. While this is not the outcome anybody would ever wish, Shipley will finally be brought home to his amazing mom who can at least have closure.

There are no words that we can say to express how grateful we are for every single person’s support of Shipley. Missing Dogs Massachusetts would like to thank our volunteers Casey W, Cindy K, Carey K, Kelly M, Deb N, Danielle M, and Beth C for their relentless efforts in Shipley’s recovery, PAWS New England volunteers Suzy S and Chuck HJ for their continued help & support, Katrina who without, Shipley's mom wouldn’t have this closure, Bethany (Dedham ACO) and every other ACO who provided us with the resources we needed, Dedham ARL, the staff at Harvard Yard, and each and every person who called in sightings, hung flyers, allowed feeding stations and traps on their property, and prayed concern for this little boy who evaded every single attempt at a safe recovery. There are so many people we may have missed, but please know, you have been a huge help. We had over 80 sightings of Shipley, with him traveling hundreds of miles, but never fully stopping. Our team responded to every single sighting with feeding stations, constantly put new plans in place as needed, but he never stopped traveling which makes it hard for recovery.

Shipley has left a huge impact on everyone’s hearts and will be forever remembered. If you live in the area and see any flyers, the family would greatly appreciate any help in removing them.
