We’re so glad Winnie is feeling better and did so well with our friends at Massachusetts Veterinary Referral Hospital! ❣️

Our doctors + staff are glad she’s on the rebound in time for the holidays!

Leptospirosis is no match for Winnie, her awesome owner, and pet insurance! This sweet pup was transferred to us from our friends at South Boston Animal Hospital for leptospirosis. Canine leptospirosis can be a serious, life-threatening disease caused by bacteria that can be transmitted to humans.

We were so glad to hear that Winnie had pet insurance (Trupanion) so when our doctors recommended a weeklong dialysis treatment, it took off the worry of a financial burden during this busy (and expensive) holiday season. We are happy she is able to be home for holidays! Speedy recovery Winnie! 💚

Fortunately, the sidewalk/street paving will be completed on West Broadway this weekend (with the exception of some painting and wiring), so we will re-open normal hours on Monday! Enjoy your weekend everyone!
