π’ MMA Fight Night, Kitten Edition: Orville vs. Faux Stucco Wall π
Orvy fights the wall on a regular basis. This spot in particular is highly offensive to him.... I can't even imagine why!! Silly boy keeps us laughing all day long πΉ
This girl amazes me! How is she *this* pregnant, yet still asked for playtime with her favorite toy?! Her belly is practically dragging on the floor! Tully girl, don't you know that you're supposed to be relaxing?! πΉ
Look at those babies go! I could sit here and watch this belly all day π»β€
Labor watch is between the 20th-28th! What day do you think she'll give birth to these busy kittens? Winner gets the satisfaction of being right πΈ
Tiring these babies out πΈ
I can't believe the time has finally come! The Cheese kittens are leaving us this weekend and heading to their forever homes, so we are soaking up every last minute of play time we can. Zola has mastered the art of fetch; even with her interfering brothers, she always prevails! Tully is the queen of fetch, therefore, Zola is the princess of fetch. Like mother, like daughter! π
We're going to miss these sweet babies so much! π§π§‘
Today would have been my first soulmate's birthday. If he was still here with us, he would've been 13 today.
Dobbey was born in our cattery in 2008; a singleton who was rejected by his mother, Cinders, at about 2 weeks old. One look at him and I couldn't resist naming him Dobbey - I'm not a Harry Potter fan, and I never expected that he would stay with me forever, so his name was meant to be temporary. After he was rejected, I helped my mother with round the clock care for him, and after several vet visits and consultations, we discovered that he was sick, and probably wasn't going to make it, hence why Cinders rejected him. I refused to accept that. I was only 14 at the time, but I was completely determined to help this tiny, wrinkly, naked little elf survive. Luckily, I was homeschooled, so I never had to leave his side. We started treatment, and I cared for him day and night, I cancelled plans with friends, skipped events, missed out on family outings - I was dedicated and refused to give up. When he was ready to start the transition from KMR to solid food, I syringe fed him with a concoction of KMR, duck meat baby food, and karo syrup several times a day, thickening it slightly day by day, until I eventually taught him how to eat from a plate, which took months due to developmental delays.
I remember the day my mom sat me down and told me that she and our vet were impressed and surprised - no one expected him to make it, but here he was, thriving. She continued on to say that someone was interested in adopting him (he had THE BEST personality - everyone who met him wanted to bring him home, you would never know he was delayed or ever even sick!) and since I did all the work to get him healthy, if I approved the adoption, then I would get the proceeds of his adoption. The other option was that I could keep him. OF COURSE I immediately jumped on keeping him!! We had a bond like no other. I would get in bed at night and whisper his name, and no matter where he wa
Quinn in Quarantine!
We have officially been in COVID-19 quarantine for an entire year, so I thought I'd share a few videos from the early days. (Peep the N95 masks and bulk toilet paper in my car π)
Quinn LOVES people, especially new people, so when she would start to get depressed, lonely, or destructive, I would go for a drive with her, park somewhere, and just let her roam around and explore my car. She loved the change of scenery and seeing all the people out on their daily walks! We also started to teach her some tricks for some extra brain stimulation. π₯°
I can hardly believe it's been a year of this! Anyone else have a high maintenance cat like Quinn who requires the love and adoration of the entire world?! π Tell me what you did to keep them entertained during quarantine!!

Milk bars are open!
Milk bars are open! There's no discriminating in this house - if there's a hungry kitten, any mama cat will nurse them, even if they're not biologically hers! Volume up for some purr therapy!!
(In the video: Zola & Monte nursing off of Tully; Mambo, Tango, and Waltz nursing off of Kona, while Ella snuggles for body heat!)
Charlie and Tully are huge fans of these new Caterpillar crinkle toys from Petlinks!
