There are times when life throws us lemons, and we have to make lemonade. In this case, we made a cake! Maggie is celebrating her fight against cancer like so many dogs do. These celebrations touch my heart and I am so grateful to be a part of them. All milestones are worth celebrating even when you’re a dog. 🐶 Congratulations Miss Maggie 🎈

Shout out to my little Salt who got stung by a bee this weekend. We have warned her about chasing 🐝 and that they are not as nice as 🐜. When she came inside from our yard, my husband found the stinger. Immediately, she became very different, almost in shock. At this point she wasn’t hiving or red so we didn’t know whether to administer Benadryl in case.

However, she then started vomiting and we knew that she could end up in anaphylactic shock. We are so lucky that is right up the street. They took care of Salt right away. We were able to take her home but in the middle of the night, she started hiving again. Back to VEG, where she stated the night. She is doing great now and back to her old spunky self! Very scary though.

is amazing. They are all kind, knowledgeable, helpful, and understanding of people like me who turn into mush when my dog is sick. Thank you. Thank you.
