While it may feel like a flurry when we’re deep in the thick of it, once we step back and examine our archives we can appreciate the way a design concept has evolved and grown with developments in both architecture and tech. 🧩

Feeling so inspired after our visit to Timken World Headquarters in Canton, Ohio! The in-person workshop with the Timken team was a blast, and we had a great time exploring the amazing innovation happening there.
We were blown away by Timken's engineering mindset and the huge impact their products have on the world. Did you know that Timken's preducts are so reliable that they're even on Voyager 1, which is currently exploring interstellar space?!
It's amazing to think about the incredible reach and impact of their products. We're excited to take everything we've learned during the visit and apply them to our work.

We're thrilled to be working on our latest project — a data sculpture that blends technology and art! 🎨🌐

As part of our prototyping phase, we're excited to share a sneak peek into the kit of parts that we made to jumpstart the process and rapid test different designs. From intricate 3D printed components to custom-built electronics, every aspect of this sculpture has been meticulously designed to create an immersive and thought-provoking experience. 💡🔍

Wish Fountain’s uniqueness comes from the blending of art, technology, and community engagement. As a technology-enabled bench at the scale of a room, Wish Fountain provides an unexpected multi-sensorial immersive experience in a busy public lobby while offering a personalized private interaction between the visitors and the artwork based on the wishes. The physiognomy of the Wish Fountain’s main canvas draws inspiration from nature and utilizes advanced digital fabrication to create an innovative piece of furniture art. Digitally, the project is driven by a custom-developed algorithm that maps received wishes from visitors to their closest visual colors, creating dynamic and ever-changing displays.

With its whimsical physical form and surprising interactivity, Wish Fountain creates a sense of curiosity and wonder, encouraging people to stop and engage with the installation, promoting self-expression and new social connections. Our hope is that Wish Fountain is an empowering experience, that sending a wish into the world and getting a beautiful response will boost visitors’ confidence and belief in themselves, and bring them closer to action.

We're excited to share our recent collaboration with The Engine by MIT , a venture firm investing in the next generation of Tough Tech.

Together, we created the Story Wall which positions The Engine beyond the walls of their new headquarters, and expresses the transformative significance of the problems that founders and their companies are tackling - from climate change to human health and built infrastructure.

The Wall's content evolves with the technological landscape, shifting and reconfiguring throughout each day like an intricate machine.

At 22 feet wide, the experience allows visitors to feel the connections, complexities, and dynamism that define The Engine and Touch Tech.
