Meet The Vet!
Peter Spinks, D.V.M. is a Western New York native, growing-up in East Aurora, New York. He earned a B.S. degree from Cornell University in 1986, and in 1990 earned his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine degree from The University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine.
His first position as a veterinarian was in Newport News, Virginia for a year. He then returned to WNY, and continued working as an associate veterinarian at area veterinary clinics through the years. Working alongside multiple veterinarians has allowed him to observe and learn many different ways of providing veterinary care.
After 24 years as an associate, Dr. Peter Spinks decided to open his own practice, and purchased Boston Veterinary Clinic. Six months of extensive remodeling was accomplished, through help of professionals where needed, and also family and friends. Significant equipment was introduced to add to what Dr. Nowak had established; the result is a modern veterinary facility in a historical building.
Dr. Peter Spinks enjoys and cherishes his wife and three sons, along with their three cats, Moose, Magic and Mojo, and their black lab, Boone. His outside interests include bicycling, the outdoors, saltwater aquariums, and old-time radio. His first memory of Boston, NY involves competing against the Boston Patriots in little-loop football as a member of the East Aurora Rams, more years ago than he would care to admit.
