My friends and I loved our snowy adventures over this past week. The sniffs in the fresh snow were top notch and the wintery zooms have been spectacular!

Everyone has been so good! Getting to spend some time playing and training at the sheepfold and sometimes enjoying a little warm up break on those really cold days before heading out for round two.

I have a couple more open slots on my schedule this upcoming week, looking forward to the warmer weather!

What an excellent week! It was very chilly some of the days but my friends stayed warm with lots of zooms. On the really cold days we would take a warm up break in the van to keep everyone safe before heading back out for round two.

Frodo, Zoe, Bauer, Curry and Larry hope you all had as nice a day as they did!
They enjoyed LOTS of sniffs and zooms, some swims, and lots of recall practice. The woods were very busy today and the boys and girls did excellent. Happy dogs all around!

Smiles from last Friday!

The weather has been beautiful and unseasonably warm recently. The dogs have been loving it, getting some late autumn swims in while they can. We’ve been exploring through crunchy leaves, following our noses, enjoying lots of zooms, and working on our recall/engagement.

It’s been incredibly uplifting to see so many happy friends, excited to see me and explore the forest. I love my job ❤️

Happy birthday to Aly! One of the sweetest guys I’ve ever met. He’s always so happy to see his dog and his people friends, and LOVES to swim and explore. Today he saw a great blue heron and decided to swim over to a little island to try and say hi. I called him back over, and while his recall is normally pretty good, today he just wanted to be an island boy, hanging out in the sun while ignoring my calls.

After a few minutes he did eventually come when the rest of the pack and I pretended to leave the area (secretly watching him from the forest).

I love this silly sweet guy, and appreciate that he does eventually listen. I was pretty close to swimming over to get him before he came back 😅
