Finding someone willing to stay with your dog or cat while you're away can be a better alternative than boarding in a kennel. They will have access to all their favorite toys and bedding. They won't be exposed to kennel cough or fleas. Plus, they get some extra attention, and treats, from one of their favorite humans!

Make sure pets are included in your family’s evacuation plan. Build an evacuation kit for everyone in the household including pets. Make sure each kit is a size and weight that can be quickly and easily loaded into a vehicle when packing to evacuate.
