UPDATE!

Many of you are already aware, but Happy Paws will be closed until September 1st because I am leaving to hike the Colorado Trail! You can still send an appointment request, however I won’t be able to approve requests until I get back into town. I look forward to seeing everyone in September!

Got the chance to groom a very rare Berger Picard! According to Wikipedia, these dogs originated in Picardy, France and nearly became extinct during trench warfare in WW1 and WW2. There are less than 400 of these dogs in North America! This dog breed is the same as seen in the movie “Because of Winn- Dixie”.
