Your gentle spirit and unwavering patience touched the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing you. From the therapy sessions where you helped kids find their confidence, to the lessons where you guided riders with grace, you made a difference every single day.

As Maddy's beloved private horse, you shared countless memories and special moments that will be cherished forever. Your presence brought warmth and love, and you will be deeply missed. Rest in peace, dear Ginger. Your legacy of kindness and strength will live on in our hearts.

Dear Fritz,

Thank you for being such a wonderful and beloved lesson horse. You were always the safest and everyone's favorite, teaching so many riders with your steady guidance. Your gentle nature and reliability made you a true treasure in our lives. We were blessed to have you in our program!

It's heartbreaking to know previous neglect affected you so deeply, and despite all efforts, you never fully recovered. As you are put to rest at 19 years old, please know that you will always be remembered with love and gratitude. Your impact on all of us will never be forgotten.

Rest in peace, dear Fritz. You will be dearly missed.

Dear beloved barn family,

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the abrupt closure of Boulder Equestrian Center Friday 8/9/24. This decision has come unexpectedly, and we understand the impact it has on all of you.

We want to express our deepest gratitude for your support, dedication, and the cherished memories we’ve created together. Your commitment to our facility has meant the world to us, and we are deeply saddened to part ways under these circumstances.

Please know that we are doing everything possible to ensure a smooth transition for both you and your horses. If you need assistance or have any questions, we are here to help in any way we can.

Thank you for being a part of our community. We will miss each of you and wish you all the best in your future endeavors.

We will be hosting a BBQ Sunday 8/11/24 at 1pm. Please come say by to our horses and staff! This will be a pot luck please bring a dish to share!

Hey, equestrian fam! 🌟 Let's talk about something super important: dental care for our beloved lesson horses! 🦷💙
Did you know that just like us, horses need regular dental check-ups too? One crucial aspect of their care involves floating their teeth. 🛠️ But what exactly is "floating," and why do we do it?
Floating is essentially filing down sharp points or edges on a horse's teeth. These points can develop from their natural chewing motion, causing discomfort and even serious issues if left unaddressed. By smoothing out these rough spots, we're ensuring our equine buddies can chew their food properly, promoting better digestion and overall health. 🌾🥕
Now, why is this especially vital for our lesson horses? 🤔 Well, imagine if you were trying to learn something new but had a toothache – not fun, right? Our lesson horses work hard to teach riders of all levels, patiently carrying us through lessons and providing invaluable experiences. Meet Fritz one of our beginner 1 horses! He specializes in giving kids a love for horses. He teaches all the basics and gives your kids the confidence to move on to more advanced horses. Fritz recently foundered but we are working with our farrier and vet to hopefully get him back into riding shape soon. If you see Fritz around the barn give him some extra love! Please share all your favorite Fritz photos in the comments!

We're thrilled to announce that Boulder Equestrian Center is now under new management, and we couldn't be more excited about the journey ahead! 🎉 Please join us in welcoming our new Barn Manager, Madelynn Rodcay, and our Head Trainer, Eden Trode, to the B.E.C. family!
Madelynn brings over 10 years of invaluable experience in horse care and management to our center. Many of you may already know her, as she's been a dedicated member of our community since 2015. Her passion for horses and commitment to their well-being is truly remarkable, and we're lucky to have her leading the way.
Joining Madelynn is our talented Head Trainer, Eden Trode. Eden holds her CHA certification and boasts extensive teaching experience, ensuring that our riders receive top-notch instruction and guidance. With her expertise, we're excited to see our riders reach new heights and achieve their equestrian goals.
Together, Madelynn and Eden are dedicated to providing the highest standard of care for our beloved horses and creating a supportive and enriching environment for all members of the B.E.C. family.
