One of the hardest parts of caring for so many wonderful pets is saying goodbye. Whether they’re with us for years or just a short while, it's never long enough. Each pet I’ve cared for has left a special paw print on my heart, and I hold the memories close. Thinking of all the beloved pets who have crossed the rainbow bridge—you are so missed. 🐾🌈

I feel so incredibly lucky to share this life with my dogs 🐾 Life isn’t always easy but they never fail to bring a smile to my face and remind me how beautiful life can be.

Last night was a bit cloudy and I knew a rainstorm was coming. I hurriedly packed Porsche into the car and grabbed my camera. Driving through the rain 🌧️ and towards the Flatirons, I knew the storm would be over shortly. See if you’ve lived in the mountains for any amount of time, you know that most rainstorms don’t last too long and they always make for epic sunsets 🌅 We played around at a pull off by the road snapping some pictures as the sky continued to change. Once I felt satisfied (after pulling her out of the car multiple times,) we started driving back home. On the way back I noticed another pull off that really let you step back and admire the expanse of the Flatirons ⛰️, so I decided to pull over one more time and photograph Porsche there. She was a bit hyped up 🤪 and there were people pulled over to watch the sunset. We turned to leave and I spotted this rainbow 🌈 I quickly started clicking away, praising Porsche for being such a good sport. This rainbow lasted for about 10 minutes before the sunset became too strong and it faded away. This is your reminder that beautiful things always come after dark times 🤍
