Armpits, rear end, legs, neck, chest, and belly/groin areas should always be top priority. Your groomer will have to shave those areas short if they become matted. Matting is painful for the dog and can even affect whether they can properly potty. Matting can lead to infections in some worse case scenarios as well. Doodles should be groomed every 4-6 weeks if coat is kept longer, or every 8 weeks if coat is kept shorter. Ask your groomer or Google how to line brush in between grooms to avoid matting altogether! π
