More than just a walk around the block, we offer off-leash group hikes combining the benefits of canine fitness, socialization, and playtime. A fun and stimulating alternative to day care or traditional dog walks, we offer 2 and 4 hour outings including door-to-door pick up and drop off. We also offer traditional leash walks and in-home visits.

Whether it’s snow or blazing heat, our girls are tough as nails! With 30+ days over 90 degrees already this summer, BDA’s adventure leaders and leash walkers have been working hard every day to show our dogs a great time while keeping them safe and cool enough in the crazy heat. You ladies are amazing and appreciated! 🤩 🙌🏼

Welcome to the pack, our new leash walker, Julee! We’re so happy she’s joined our team. A bit about Julee below…

Originally from California, Julee has called the Boulder area home for 33 years. For over a decade she has provided pet care and animal healing for dogs, cats, birds, horses, reptiles, and even elephants! She also utilizes her Masters in Psychology and numerous certifications as a meditation teacher and holistic healer (for humans!). Motivated by the beauty of the Earth and a passion for exploration, Julee has slow traveled through 14 countries, leading transformational workshops and retreats along the way. Now she focuses on sinking deeper roots into the Boulder area, while learning the lessons dogs teach: meet each day with enthusiasm and playfulness; passionately adore your family and friends; give lots of love and cuddles; appreciate every moment of life. Each animal she has worked with has imparted pround insights and wisdom. A book about her experiences with animal communication and healing is on the horizon.

Welcome to our newest good boy, Duncan! He’s a 1 year old Golden Retriever/Bernese Mountain Dog who worked hard during puppyhood to be able to join the BDA pack. We’re so excited to welcome Gretchen to our team! Gretchen has been a Colorado resident for 11 years and loves exploring all the trails it has to offer. She graduated with her MFA in Dance from CU Boulder, and enjoys performing with the dance company, Viskosity. Gretchen is a huge lover of all dogs but especially the big fluffy variety, and is stoked to fill her days with pup adventures!

The Doggie Dash is a fun run that benefits the Humane Society of Boulder Valley. One of the most fun events of the year! We participate in the community expo where we get to meet lots of cool people and their pups. Good times had by all!
