Sunshine is truly a dream come true dog, and still looking for her perfect furever home! Sunshine is 6 months old and seriously the best puppy ever! She is potty trained, kid friendly, dog friendly, and SOOO sweet and happy! Sunshine knows no stranger and greets everyone with wiggly hellos. This sweet baby is 30 lbs and a Catahoula mix (?) and available for adoption now! ☀️

How come nobody wants to adopt sweet little Malibu!?! 🥺 Malibu is a silly and super sweet little Corgi / Husky mix. She is 6 months old and 15 lbs (will be full grown around 20-25 lbs). Her littermate was adopted and she’s still waiting to find her forever home 🥺

Bissell is looking for his forever home still, and he’s the best boy ever!
Bissell is a 4 year old maybe Border Collie, maybe Cattle Dog, maybe Boxer, maybe Lab mix! (Mutts are the best!)
He is an absolute love! He is the best of both worlds- he’ll relax and cuddle with you on the couch if you want to just hangout at home, but then can get up and hike 5 miles without missing a beat.
He is completely potty trained.
He is nondestructive in the house and has free roam with his foster family.
He is great in the car. He is super smart and knows his basic manners. He sadly has not had an easy start and was a victim of neglect but his hair is growing back and his skin is healing beautifully. In spite of all his hardships, he absolutely adores people. He is good with other dogs (currently living with two), but has not been cat tested. He will make an amazing CO dog!

Wildfire's Wounds: Bonded Pair Seeks New Home & Fresh Start
Simba & Ace had a family to call their own, but unfortunately, they lost their home (and other furry siblings) in the home due to a devastating fire for the second time this year. Their previous owner also thought these boys also lost their lives in the fire, until they found them hiding in a bush trying to keep themselves safe. **These boys have lost all they've ever known and despite this they're very sweet and lovable boys.** They are now need of a new home where they can continue to grow up together.

Simba & Ace are both about 1 year old and only 5lbs each. They have been fully vetted, are up to date on his vaccines, and they are both neutered.

They are very bonded and they are always snuggling, grooming, and playing together. They're crate trained, love other dogs, enjoy snuggling on the couch or in bed at night and are mostly potty trained, but they will also use potty pads especially during the night.
Simba is more outgoing while Ace takes an extra day or two to warm up to new people. They have so much love to give! They are ready for a fresh start and a new place to call home where they can remain together.

Hello!
Farfel’s Farm & Rescue in Boulder is in DESPERATE need of fosters.

With summer ending, we have lost 8 fosters in the last 3 weeks. We are a fully foster based rescue, which means we have NO shelter and rely on fosters to be able to rescue dogs.

Without fosters, we cannot continue saving dogs that are in urgent need that are at risk of euthanasia.

Farfel’s Rescue provides fosters with food, leash/harness/collar, p**p bags, and if requested, a crate or toys.

All dogs we get in are temperament tested and good with people and other dogs. Sometimes they are a bit scared/shy going into a new home (sometimes they are not!)

Average fostering time can be anywhere from a few days to a few weeks, and occasionally up to a month or 2, depending on the dog. (Average foster time is around 1 - 2 weeks but we can rarely guarantee a timeframe).

Meet Jeb, our lovable black lab who is as energetic as he is sweet! This bundle of joy has boundless enthusiasm and a thirst to learn more skills. Jeb is fresh off the vans from NM yesterday, and he hasn't been able to contain his excitement about his new life ahead quite yet. He likely needs a little help shaking off these big changes in his life by the way of active outlets & structured down time with an awesome human!

Here's what we're searching for in a foster home for Jeb:

🐾 A lot of Exercise: Jeb thrives on activity. He’s the kind of dog who needs regular, vigorous exercise to keep him happy and healthy.

Black Labrador Retrievers are known for their friendly and outgoing personalities. They are intelligent dogs that are eager to please their owners. They are gentle and affectionate, making them great family pets. Their loyalty and playful nature make them a famous choice for companionship.

Mylo sure measures up to these standards already. He is starting out with great energy, with the kindest eyes, and sweet as can be! At just 18 weeks old, he's blossomed into a beautiful and fun ball of love and silliness. Based off of Mylo's current age and weight (around 26 lbs currently), we think he'll be about 50-55 lbs full grown.

Hey y'all! Rock here, newest edition at Farfel's and I just had to share about my favorite girl.
Paris is my first "full circle" rescue save... or she will be once she's adopted. After spending years saying goodbyes while we loaded thousands of dogs onto transport vans... it's incredible to get to say hello and coordinate the happy ending on this side for such deserving souls.
Paris was saved by Farfel's Farm & Rescue by pulling her from a high kill shelter in Houston, TX (where I did a lot of my volunteering when I lived there for the past 8 years). I asked a personal friend in TX to foster her so that we could learn more about her and she's got A+ rating all around! This girl is POTTY TRAINED, DOG FRIENDLY, and a Total Sweetheart! She's the perfect size at *23 lbs* to be a [nearly] lap dog but still able to keep up on any adventures you might want a best friend for! She's 7 years old.
I'm so glad she's out of Texas, but unfortunately, she hasn't been able to see much of the beauty of CO since arriving yet. She's hanging out in a doggie day care facility keeping her safe until her furever people show up to scoop her up! Her report cards have been consistent with what we already know about her... this girl is AWESOME! I can't wait to see her get the best life out here in CO. Could it be with you?

Poor Asher has been with us for too long!! He arrived at just 1 month old, born in a small Texas shelter and transported to Colorado with his littermates and their mom. Quickly the puppies were adopted, and then mom…. And Asher is still in his foster home, now 5 months old, wondering when it’ll be his turn ❤️‍🩹

FOSTERING SAVES LIVES!
Farfel’s Rescue really, REALLY needs foster homes. (Especially fosters willing to foster a puppy!!)
Farfel’s provides all necessary tools to care for the foster dog: food, harness, leash, toys, p**p bags, crate (if we have an extra at that time), etc.
Fostering can be anywhere from a few days to a few weeks, to a month or so, totally depending on the dog and how much info & photos we get from their foster. We strive to get every dog out of their foster home and into a forever home ASAP!
