Lillies!!!!! Here they come. Growing lilies and crates is a new crop for us this year and so far I’m loving it.

Wow! This rain, so awesome. We’re going to enjoy it from the greenhouse today, the Farm Stand is CLOSED on Saturday, but we will be open Sunday 12-5pm. Come see what we’re harvesting! New spring crops include: chioggia beets (pictured above), baby carrots, spring onions, green garlic, arugula, kale raab, baby kale, spicy greens, spinach, salad mix, pea shoots, radish, rhubarb, chives, nettle, and spring flower bouquets!

Our first succession of arugula outside will be ready to cut this weekend! We have no way of irritating in the field until the snow starts melting the irrigation ditches start running. We’re still about 10 days out from that. This year all of the rain and snow in the early spring allowed our first crop to germinate early. Some seasons were not so lucky, and we won’t have any greens to harvest outside until the ditch start running. Feeling pretty grateful right now to be growing for all of you.
