When our families get on a litter- they don’t choose their puppy until the puppy is 7 weeks old. I ask my families to love all puppies equally and not to pick a favorite- especially based off color! At 6 weeks old we can start to see some real traits..but not until 7 weeks old can we really some some concrete traits! We test for assertiveness, confidence level, motivation, nerve strength, touch tolerance, human focus, prey drive, energy level, nerve strength, sound sensitively, sight sensitivity and my favorite of all, the tenderhearted test 🥰

Puppies don’t love bath and brush time. 💦😬But we do it weekly anyways! It’s a part of their lives, so we start them off on the right foot! If you continue this for your puppy- it will make the world of a difference as you continue to bathe and brush them! And, it will make your dog your groomers FAVORITE!

I have all of my favorite grooming products, linked under products on my website. Invest in high quality shampoo and conditioner, a good slicker brush- and eventually a dryer, shears and clippers! It will save you 💰 in the long run!
A common question I get is, “Do Golden Doodles like water?” YES! They love it. Both golden retrievers and poodles were bred specifically to retriever in the water!

If you are a family with a pool, live close to the Beach, or love to go boating 💦 - you’ll want to start introducing your puppy to water right away, and slowly :)
