Hello There!!! I hope everyone’s Holidays were amazing!!! And I hope everyone has been enjoying this snowy cold weather as much as we have!! That being said we are so close to better weather and ready to get started again!! Lessons will resume March 18th and the horses want to thank you all for their much needed time to relax!! That being said they are nice and “fluffy” lol. We will be putting out an updated price list., not much is changing except moving away from 30 min lessons unless deemed beginner(cannot ride/stead alone). We will also have an updated availability schedule as I have accepted a new position that is slightly more demanding however we will always try to accommodate everyone’s schedules as needed! At this time we will not be taking any brand new clients as we want to ensure current clients are able to get scheduled. We will continue to update as time gets close and you can expect to see availability in Vagaro March 8th. Thank you all and we are so excited to see everyone!!!

A little late but another amazing year at Chasing Cans for Cancer and another buckle for Liam!! CJ and Brandy are worth their weight in gold for taking care of our boy!! Can’t wait to continue the busy rodeo season!

Hey friends! We would like to let everyone know about a fall update to business hours. As many of you know we had our son sit out of rodeo last year as he leveled up to new events which provided us more time with the business. This year he is doing little britches and jr high rodeo which means we will have to block out some extra time for us to accommodate his lesson schedule.

Additionally, I will be returning to work and we are moving into our busy season there. I am taking this week off lessons to get acclimated with work and starting next week the days we will offer lessons are Monday, Thursday, and Friday after school. If these days don’t work, we will try our best to accommodate alternate options when possible.

The last week of October starts our outage where we have no availability for lessons and then rolling into the holidays we will be focusing on family time. We will be taking a break from offering lessons during this time (October 26th through sometime when the weather breaks).

Starting the new year, stay tuned for an updated pricing list and spring 2025 schedule offerings.

Thank you for understanding the upcoming changes. As always we appreciate our clients!

Today we say goodbye to a spitfire of a pony that has provided such life to our program.

Freckles “the wonder pony”. Freckles spent years running around the Junior Rodeo arenas as if he was at the NFR. The countless number of kids he taught to ride and dream big! His favorite things were showing how fast he could lap the arena and walking in on his hind legs! He took Brynn and Liam to Nationals in Oklahoma and left all of us with so many memories.
We only owned him for three years but in those three years he made Liam a cowboy. After his first cancer surgery a higher power gave him a few more years to take care of our son! He taught him everything he needed to know inside and out of the arena. He spent his final six months enjoying retirement in a green pasture with his best side kick honey! He was our only boy until Dexter came along and let me tell you he took him under his wing. When I watch them in the pasture I can almost hear Freckles giving Dexter the low down on taking care of “his boy”. The love and heart this pony has for the rodeo life is unwavering.
There is no doubt in my mind Dani will meet him in heaven and they will be a traveling team to the rodeos above.
Freckles is irreplaceable and always will be but the memories he gave us all will last a lifetime. He was a trooper until the end and we will always wish they live forever but there is no doubt in my mind that Freckles will live in the hearts of all of us forever!

This is impossible to post but Freckles will live on through so many! Please post any pictures you have of our boy ❤️

NEW app to schedule Lessons with us!!

Hello everyone❤️ hope the holidays were amazing! Looks like Winter is finally here…. That being said our first concern is always the safety of our horses and customers! Please be flexible as snow and windy conditions seem to be on the horizon and they will be followed by frigid cold. We try our best to continue to ride through the winter but we do look out for everyone’s comfort and safety including the horses. We will be cancelling lessons when the temperatures are below 20 degrees and will always keep road conditions in mind. We also have jobs we love but demand our utmost support in challenging weather so please bear with us as we all count down the days until summer❤️ stay warm!
