Here are the extra tips you can use to groom your long-haired fur baby:

Brushing:

🐾Brushing is key to managing husky shedding, especially important during summer. Aim for at least weekly brushing sessions.

Bathing:

The answer depends on your dog’s breed, coat type, and individual needs.

But here are some general guidelines:

💚Short-haired breeds: Brush a few times a week to remove loose hair and keep their coat healthy.
💚Long-haired breeds: Brush daily to prevent mats and tangles, especially around their legs, tail, and rear end.
💚Double-coated breeds: Brush regularly to remove shedding undercoat.

And don’t forget…

💚 Nail trims: Every 2-4 weeks.
💚Ear cleaning: As needed, depending on your dog’s ear type and cleanliness.

🐾 Meet Marley! A Pet Adoption Story 🐾

Meet our incredible client Zoe, a fitness coach and her adopted furry friend, Marley! Let’s join their journey as we read Zoe’s story of how she fell in love at first sight with Marley.😍🐶

ZOE’S POV:

For the last two years, Marley has been our brightest and favorite part of our day 🐾

We adopted Marley from Charles County Animal Shelter June 25, 2022. It was love at first sight for me when I saw the Facebook post with his picture and backstory.

There was something about his eyes, both somber, soulful and playful. 🥹🐶 I drove out to meet him and signed the adoption contract the same day. We waited a few days for him to be neutered and the rest is history. 🖤

Marley is obedient, smart & the most cuddly 100 pound dog.

✂️ Cris started grooming Marley about 6 months after we got him. He absolutely loves being dropped off for his grooming! His tail actually starts wagging uncontrollably, he starts breathing hard as soon as we turn onto Cris’ street when he realizes where he’s going. 🥹

Cris is detail-oriented, compassionate, careful and very communicative. His winter and summer cuts are season-appropriate and he’s the handsomest after his monthly appointment. 🐩 We are so thankful to have Cris in our Marley tribe 🙏

We love celebrating the heartwarming journeys of pets finding their forever homes.💚💚 Adopting a pet brings joy, love, and endless wagging tails into our lives.
