Last show of the year!

I want to say people Showed Up this show. This is always the biggest show of the year but man....this was pre-entry only but we had 37 entries on Friday, over 40 on Saturday and Sunday 47! 🤯😵‍💫🤯😵‍💫 It's incredible for the sport in more the 90% of the dogs max pulled in both A and B division so placements came down to time! (🤞🏾we can get that cap bumped up in the future 🤞🏾)

Lots of friendly competition! It was an amazing weekend with some bittersweet undertones.

First off the man with the plan Kino Bobeno he on pulled once a day so just 3, he came I third behind my favorite girls so we are not mad at that all. His max pulls in B division times still under 10 seconds the others girls under 9 sessions. YIKES! REALLY! 🤣🤣 Yes, really lol that's dogs name's lol We did bring home this beautiful ribbon, however, for his Ultimate title...it's one other the highest earned titles you can ever win and we are very proud to say that Kino did earn this titles.

Bruce Wayne killed it in his first ever weight pull competition. He Max pulled in A division at 1460lbs earned 2nd the first time the 1st the following pulls. Very proud of baby dog he had a class of 5 dogs so he really did earn that first place and his UWP title as well. He was finally calm enough to be a show dog on day 2 lol he did awesome for the last 3 shows and picked up some points towards his Champion title. So maybe March 🤷🏾‍♀️🤞🏾 it's not the biggest priority but man when he moves well its beautiful.

Last but not least Royalty Kennels Super Nova...man I absolutely love this girl and so does everyone that had ever met her. She did max pull most of the weekend. Her last day we had to run in the ring and back and we didn't get her max but she did amazing and earned her Grand Champion Weightpull Title! And in the show ring we got no love most days until the last possible show, she earned a Reserve Champion. Unfortunately, due to the changes of the UKC American Bully Standard, Super Nove will be hanging up her show lead. They have officially disqualified blue eyes one or both. For earing her Champion at her first show ever...I'll take that 😉

Welcome Noah to !

This was quite the 2nd birthday for this to be sent off to boarding 🤣

He is having fun but also learning basic on leash obedience 🙌🏾

He's doing well so far but we have 3 more weeks and a few days to go 🙌🏾

Nova has exceeded our expectations in her sports program. She's definitely not done but in the first 2 years she has achieved many great titles. Fun dog to work with, great drive great temperament great American Bully 😍

Found out about a mock obedience trial the other day and took

Entered him in Beginner - Novice as an impulse "why not" and he did very. Not bad for a shelter dog that has never been in a ring before.

Lots of compliments on his breed and his behavior. They thought he was a pit bull, but they are AKC folks so I couldn't blame them. Just educated them about his breed.

Im just glad that he was able to do the things. It wasn't perfect but we never practiced with him, just the cherry on top before he goes home👌🏾

Got in a Dock Diving lessons today 🐾

Pups did awesome as always. They really are taking to the methods of the instructor and improved drastically.

They both are jumping off the dock in the little pool with no hesitation 👏🏾

Next week we will be on the big dock 🙌🏾 can't wait.

Nova looks so tired 🤣 she swam her little heart out today. I didn't get a lick if footage since I was helping out and it was extremely wet.

Well deserved rest for both pups.

Nova took first in the Novice 50 lbs class. She pulled 60 times her body weight at both trials and took Novice Most of Weight Pulled and Novice Most Weight Pulled per Pound the first trial

Kino took second both trials, he also pulled 60 times his body weight. The track was hard but that's what we needed. Working out a few things still but it was much appreciated.

Buddy and I enjoyed a brief walk today.

I know he doesn't care much but I definitely didn't want to push him too much on a super hot day. Which is why we stayed on the shady side today.

UWP K9 Royalty's Super Nova CA CGC CGCA SPOT📣

Nova passed her canine good citizens test as well as the advanced test with flying colors. She would have definitely passed Urban as we but...we where in too Rural of an area for that test. Next time though.

She really had some wonderful exposure in her younger life thanks to Royalty K9 Kennels LLC] and just solid temperament thanks to and Royalty K9 Kennels LLC]

I can literally take this dog anywhere and handle her with ease... AND I DO 😎...now her prey drive is very much there. But I would never turn that off 🤣 love this Kid

This weekend has been a busy one 2 bording and one pet sitting.

Rocco the enjoys his visit, play sessions in morning and pm potty and meals times. Perfectly tailored to his usual schedule. And man does he love fetch 🎾

Tank the is saying with us for behavioral modification for a few weeks to help him out with a few things that are a little deeper than his Obedience work. Which his owner has so diligently worked on thus far. 🙏🏾

And Buddy the boarded with us for the first time 😊
Hopefully we will see more or him and his cute hair cut.

Just goes to show how genetics play such an important roll in looks. Kino and Nova Eat the same, sleep the same, exercise the same mostly and he would never look like her... As hard as I may try.... Never.

Rhea and I definitely put in some steps today!

I have her twice a week for Train & Play and really been working out.

I have her from 10 am—3pm we play we train and play-train 🤣 DM for Pricing

Today I took her to the skate park for some confidence building, worked on heel and auto sit near distractions and walked around the park.... All of it apperently 😅

So we are in the very exciting and fast pace process of moving this week but it didn't stop the Easter Bunny from dropping off this little darling for boarding.

This is King an 8 week old Labradoodle. His 9 year old owner complains about him chewing jumping and hu***ng her little sister.

I told the young owner "well he is a Baby baby so we have to teach him how to be good.😉"

Coolest thing about working with kids. They; like puppies, are complete sponges to information. Kids do not have the distractions of life like adults and just stick to the facts and given information. Often times I have seen that kids can consistently handle a dog better than adults, when given very clear directions.

This kid also reminds me of myself. I planned out EVERY single thing would do with my dog, before I ever was told I could get one 😂. This young owner even knew about the ears being plucked using powder, she definitely did some research.

Like us, definitely always do your research beforehand. I unfortunately had some news to tell when her mom said oh he's going to stay small or (not grow too big) ... Not this guy he's definitely going to be between 30-60 lbs.

Also when I look for "papers" I'm looking for the dogs pedigree, his parents, the breeders name, shots and stuff. Not a recipient or bill of sale. That means absolutely nothing and basically means you bought a mutt...I won't go there today though 🤣

But seriously when buying a dog definitely consider all those things. At the very least see the parents and their temperaments, the lifespan of their parents if possible. I don't doubt you can get a great dog from a farmers market for $5, because I definitely did (my first dog) And rescues are amazing too when you know what to look for, like with Kino. Thank you husband 😘

And be honest with yourself, can I take care of a puppy. Not I bought it for my kid, because it's really not childrens responsibility to be raising them without your full assistance. It can build up resentment and frustration with your children. Having a dog is hard work but should be fun as well.

Our buddy Tank is staying with us for a couple of days. He has really built up a bromance with our resident dog Kino.

He's very neutral around him. Doesn't stop the peeing contest outside lol but they are good boys around each other.

It's also been super gross outside so we haven't been doing much.

showed up and showed out this weekend at Hampton Roads Kennel Club. We had 3 days of competition in weight pull, 2 days a piece of Rally Obedience and SPOT Evaluations. And it was Hot Today Y'all like 80 degrees hot.

Little miss Super Nova did her Thang at her first official UKC competition and gave me Max Pulls on Natural Wheels all 5 trials in A division, Most Weight Pulled per Pound 4 times and she earned her UWP title plus 20 points towards her next title. All of her pulls where under 10 seconds 😏 just wanted to mention that as well Then after realizing down is a way of life she qualified in her last 2 trials in Rally Obedience and then earned her Spot title as well 🙌🏾

Kino...what else can I say about this dog. He definitely showed everyone how it's done. He also gave me max pulls on Natural Wheels in B division all 5 trials and all under 9 seconds. He earned his Elite title. Rally he qualified all 6 trials and earned his Rally Masters, Rally Champion and not only 1 but 2 High in Trials. And the Cherry on top...he finally earned his On in Spot 😍

We had a great long weekend, with some great friends, beautiful dogs and people. Always nice to have to good group of people to support the sports of UKC. We can't wait to return in May 🙌🏾 for Weight pull Artificial Wheels and Rails indoors 🙏🏾😅

How bout a dinner chat update.😋 Thank you for providing us the basics to keep us going and happy 😊

And a few supplements for everyone

We have been working very hard in preparation for the upcoming UKC Hampton Roads Show 🙌🏾 very exciting for Nova this will be her first official weight pull, rally and we are even taking stab at Spot which is a behavioral evaluation. We have a few more things to hash out this week but I'm super confident that she's going to be great.👍🏾

Kino of course is an overachiever he is going for 2 rally titles, one of the last few weight pull titles and the On to his Spot. We took it a ways back and well handler error. I'm more confident now than I was then. He he's awesome and he loves him some ribbons🏅

I will do my dangiest to get videos hear and there but I volunteer at the shows as well. So it gets difficult at times. 🤞🏾

Winner winner we had fish for dinner the other day.

I always make sure everyone gets fish at least 2 times a week. Frozen Whiting and/or salmon with sardines 😋

Topped off with supplements and fruit/ veggies smoothie mix, beef tripe, ground beef heart, chicken and turkey HVM for Kino and PMR for BellaDonna. (so easy to feed her 3 oz vs the dogs 15-17 oz 😩)

Just re-upped the house and did some minor raw prep. The other day.

Team 187 Rally 2 100 High in Trial. We had some technical issues but we got it 👍🏾

Took these two dragging today. I swear I'm going to stop saying "this is the last one" out loud 😅 Kino took us up the steeper part of the baby hill and almost into a bush 🤦🏾‍♀️ Poor Nova, but she trucked it with half her body weight. Her determination to keep up with him is so cute to watch. She may be slower but she never stops until I say. She's sure is a great little girl 🥰 They both earned their recover and dinner tonight, super proud 👏🏾👏🏾🤳

Everybody learns some level of respect when it comes to feeding time. Not only is it cool to watch but that impulse control 🤌🏾 #loveit

Daisy's lesson with mom went super well. So incredibly proud them both. The distractions where perfect, cicadas, dogs people 👌🏾 Shout out to uncle Kino for being the demo dog that we needed today. He's really good about helping owners understand how to work the leash and what not to allow. We have Daisy for one more week and she will be back home for summer vacation 🌞 Background Music by Cicadas 🎵

Daisy at the end of day 2. Settling back into her boarding routine that she rememberd so well. Hasn't even been 24 hours that we had her now. After each session she get play time and then created to decompress. Very pleased to see that she seeks comfort in her crate...or 2 🤣 The smaller crate I use for travel, and the bigger one she sleeps in. She could use a little more room but she sometimes has accidents so will do for now.
