We live to get updates on our 6D lab family! UPDATE ON LYRA
I just wanted to give everyone an update on my sweet Lyra! She did amazing on our road trip from Texas to Colorado. She is such a good traveler! She even got to experience snow for the very first time, and it was pure joy watching her play in it. Today, she had her first veterinary visit, and the doctor said she's perfect! She's growing and thriving, and I can't express enough how much she's brightened my life. Every day with her is a reminder of how lucky I am to have such a sweet, loving companion.

Love these updates……
River’s vet appointment went great! She is healthy and doing great. She’s doing amazing with training at home as well. She knows the basic commands, loves her crate, but not so sure about her leash yet as you can see by her spoiled self having to be carried the rest of the way home. She’s been such a sweet, calm, and well behaved puppy. We definitely got blessed with her 💗.

We love getting messages like this. Such a sweet couple we met this summer!

……..Just wanted to give you an update on the puppies. We picked them up June 1. Micah (red collar) and Lukas (blue) are great! Typical labs- sweet.
lovable, affectionate, social, excellent appetite, eager to please, prefer to be near us and trainable; typical puppies- love to chew on everything, accomplished diggers, curious and playful; typical brothers (“twins”) - INSEPARABLE, jealous, play ‘til they drop, chew and bite each other, chase each other inside or outside etc!

We have a swimming pool. They look at it! No swimmers! Fine with us. Introduced ball playing but not enough interest. They would rather interfere with each other’s attempt to participate.

They have different personalities. Micah is boss most of the time. He’s the instigator and easier to train and is more likely to reject what he’s learned! Lukas is more docile but does defund himself.

They’re learning how to behave with the help of a shock collar using the vibration or noise setting.
They haven’t mastered not jumping up, primarily on people, and walking with leashes.
