Thank you all very much for the nomination! We are honored to be in the running for the “Best of Bowling Green”!!! In honor of National Dog Day we thought we would show off our own personal dogs for a change! First up is Timber. She belongs to Sarah and she’s a shepherd mix. Her favorite treat is scrambled eggs! Next up is Tyson (Tys Tys) he’s a pit bull and belongs to Krisline. He’s pretty sure he’s a human and not a dog though! The husky and the Texas heeler are Mia and Lexi and they both belong to Hayley. Mia was pregnant and emaciated when Hayley rescued her. She lives a very happy life now! Lexi loves Hayley but her main squeeze is actually Hayley’s boyfriend! Holli doesn’t actually have a dog. She’s the proud parent of the 3 cats. The 2 Persians are Biscuit and Bartleby and the orange/black/and white one is Pubby. All 3 have VERY different personalities! Last but not least are Melisa’s 3. Trusty (bloodhound), Juliet (Rottweiler), and Luna (cattle dog). This picture was taken last year at Juliet’s birthday party. She turned 10 at the beginning of August this year. Everyone who meets Trusty loves him instantly. He’s a good boy but he’s not the brightest crayon in the box! Luna and Trusty are best buds and she likes to control his every move and Trusty just lets her do it! Happy National Dog day to all the dogs!

Just a quick reminder that this is the last week of our “tricks” contest! We’ve have some adorable entries so far. We have loved seeing what these pups can do! To enter just post a video of your dogs best trick in the comments of any of the 3 contest posts we’ve made. First place is $30 off your next groom and second place is a free T-shirt! Thank you Henry and Holli for today’s demonstration! We will post the winners on June 19th!

It’s safe to say here at “The Barking Lounge” we love dogs! One of the things that really makes our day is hearing about their lives and seeing their tricks. We have seen some of our pups do yoga poses, lots of pups know how to walk themselves, and we have 2 dogs that have official jobs and have to take the day off work in order to come get groomed! This has inspired us to have a contest!! Running from June 5th-June 16th we would like our (current) customers to please share videos of their dogs best preformed trick on our page. We will pick a winner on June 19th and announce it on our page. First place will get $30 off their next groom and second place will get a free Tshirt. Help us judge by placing a “like”on the video you think is the best! Let’s have some fun with this! Thank you Liam for getting this contest started!!
