These two female orange kitties are looking for their forever home!
Annie (top, darker orange) and Alice (bottom, cream orange) and 4 months old, spayed and dewormed with basic vetting. These little ladies were pulled from a barn with their brother. They have learned to love the indoor cat life, as you can see as they both love to curl up on a fluffy blanket for a cat nap. We would love for these sisters to go home together, but they can also be adopted separately. Adoption fee does apply.

Jasper is ready to go to his forever home!
He's about 4 months old. Dewormed, defleaed, neutered, and had a rabies shot. All of our kittens are inside only and litter box trained.
This super sweet kitten is ready for his own family! Him and his sister's were caught in a barn and brought to us. His two orange sisters will also be up for adoption in a couple weeks after their surgery.
Adoption fee does apply.

Little Luigi was caught Thursday afternoon at the same barn as our 3 orange kittens. Immediately we noticed something was wrong and the next morning noticed he was very congested and labored breathing. Thankfully Snodgrass Veterinary Medical Center was able to squeeze us in that afternoon and Dr. Hannah started him on treatment for pneumonia.

After a couple days on antibiotics we can already tell he is feeling better and starting to show us his personality. He is not happy with his current living arrangements (in a lg crate in my bathroom away from the other critters) but he enjoys a good chin scratch. We will start the paperwork for his neuter and tell be good to go in about a month.

New foster kittens! Alice and Jasper came to us yesterday when they were found in a barn. Poor things came in starving, dehydrated and a bit anemic from fleas and ticks. After some good food and a Dawn bath they are already looking so much better! Sonny went back to work today and found their poor sister Alice trapped in a wood pile! She's happy to be reunited with her siblings.
Thank you to Heritage Animal Hospital for getting us started on dewormer even on a holiday weekend!

We do pick up a lot of dogs, but we see at least as many lost dog posts that are never found. 💔

Do not let your dogs roam while you are at work all day. It isn't safe for them and we get Animal control calls all day long regarding dogs who are off their property, being a nuisance, and in the road.

Be responsible, spay/neuter, get your pets utd on their vaccines, and have your pets microchipped. If you love them keep them safe. ❤🐾

This sweet girl is looking for her forever home! "Blue" came to us with her sister, who has already found her forever home!
Blue is approx. 13-14 weeks old and will grow to be a medium or large size dog. We know her mom is a pit bull/bully breed, and it was guestimated her father is a black lab. This little girl is sweet and sassy! Very playful, but loves to snuggle on the couch with a warm blanket. A big personality for a little girl! Blue gets along well with other dogs, cats, kids, and adults. She has done amazing at learning her crate and potty training. If I could keep this girl for myself she'd be my new foster fail!

These little girls are really starting to show their personalities! Miss Brindle puppy is very independent and playful, while her sister is very needy and loves attention. We got lots of outside time today and our first round of dewormer. In a few days we will get our first round of shots.

A little late in the year, but our two newest additions. These little girls are sisters, about 6-7 weeks old, "pit/possibly lab" mixes. The pup on the right is 99% black in color, and her sister is a brindle type color. They still need their initial vetting done, but we will work hard to get them ready for adoption. Stay tuned for details!

Question for all of my fellow fosters and rescuers! Foster needed!

I have a friend looking for a foster for her mother's dog. It is a small dog, a chihuahua type little pup. My personal dogs do not play well with such small types, so I'm reaching out for help!

It would be short term, as she is sick at the moment and it would really help her is she could find a temporary foster to help while she gets well. If anyone is willing to help please let me know and I can get you in touch with her!

How has this sweet girl not been adopted yet??

Daisy is still looking for her forever home. She has been completely vaccinated, dewormed, and she has been spayed. She is all healed up and ready for her own family!

Daisy is a 38lbs Shepherd mix puppy about 5 months old. This little girl is the sweetest puppy I have ever had. She loved cuddles and running in the backyard chasing fireflies. She's cat and dog friendly.

Let's find this girl a home! She does have an adoption fee.

Everyone think positive thoughts for Little Daisy Duck today! She went this morning for her spay surgery. She's now about 5 months old and weighs 36lbs. She has legs for days! She is still not a huge fan of the car. Nothing crazy, just whines when she's riding. But she was excited to jump in and go on an adventure!
We hope for a speedy recovery as she's supposed to meet a potential family this weekend!

Daisy Duck is still looking for a place to call home. She likes to sneak onto the couch now when she thinks no one is watching! She is getting bigger every day, and we want her to find a family she can really bond and grow with! Daisy has done wonderful is potty training and socializing. She is a bit nervous, but with love and patients she is the most loving girl.

She has received all 3 of her puppy boosters and is scheduled for her spay surgery and rabies shot. Please help Daisy find her forever family!

She does have a very reasonable adoption fee!

Daisy is approx 16 week old Shepard mix puppy. She has received her starter booster shots, and is scheduled for her spay appointment.
She has done very well with us on potty training. She is a bit nervous, but with love and patience she is super sweet and playful. She does like to steal flip flops, and does not like to sit still for pictures.

UPDATE 11:52 pm 7-1-20

So, my mentions on twitter are ripped and thank God it wasn't my personal account. Thanks to all of you for getting the word out because as usual, you killed it. Here's what I know. The CDC backed off the deport order for tonight. A lot of VIPs have gotten involved and they are pushing this. I am cautiously optimistic. I would also like to take this opportunity to apologize to Bob Dole for drawing a pencil moustache on his portrait in the Dole Building when I was an undergrad at the Univ of Kansas. You're OK Bob, and thanks for helping the dogs.

OK, Kraken, we have emergency work to do. This dog is about to get deported back to Africa. There is NO legit reason for this to happen other than the CDC wants to. This dog's paperwork was screwed up, but the dog is vaccinated and is being quarantined so it's a harmless error. The CDC will deport tonight and the dog will be euthanized when it gets back there. This is insane.

We are sad to say that Miss Daisy is back up for adoption. The family who adopted her was unaware of the commitment to a puppy and puppy training.

Daisy is approx. 16 weeks old. She had done very well with potty training and socializing. That being said, she has done great here with me and with my schedule. When a puppy, dog, cat, pet, child, etc. Goes to a new house and a new environment, they must learn with that family and that schedule. She is a bit shy, however will love and patience she is the sweetest little girl.

She has received her first 2 sets of booster shots, will receive a third a week from now, and has an appointment to be spayed this month. Please help me find Daisy Duck a home of her own! Daisy has an appointment to be spayed! Her appointment is set for July 21st. She can be adopted before then! We will help you to make sure she gets to her appointment.
