Once again, the weather is going to be incredibly cold and dangerous for outside pets. We'll always encourage you to bring them in, if possible. Even a garage is better than being left outside. We understand some pets refuse or will not tolerate this. Here are some tips and warnings. A good, sturdy doghouse is imperative. Proper bedding (straw) and dog houses facing towards protection, not facing out for wind, rain or snow. Tarps around kennels, heat lamps if possible. As a pet owner, it is your responsibility to care for your pets.

Snow Bertha says will one of you guys adopt me already.

She will come with like 50 tennis balls upon adoption.

Haha.

She is cat friendly but would need to probably be an only dog unless it’s a real old submissive male. That may be okay.

Since I know a lot of folks aren’t working today, you may be reading this. Ya mind sharing or commenting.

Shes been at the shelter for well over six months.

We can even call her a pointer if that’ll help get her adopted 😂

Our station at The Fix Foundation is getting closer to opening! We had our paw-fessional testers give us their honest feedback this weekend and they were very happy with the station (They may or may not have been bribed with treats). We’ve got a few minor things to knock out then the station will be ready for public use.
