These two are not just best friends, they’re soulmates. They do everything together—eat, play, nap, and even take treats side by side. Their bond is one of a kind, and it shows in every aspect of their relationship. Both Rosie and Tatum are housebroken, great on a leash, and excellent car riders. They are wonderful with people and gentle with kids, making them the ideal family companions. Rosie is the more active of the two—she loves running around, whether it’s at the park or in the backyard, and she’s a big fan of playing fetch. Tatum, on the other hand, is a cuddle bug. September to Remember: Staff Strength
From giving happy endings to pets like Clifford who had a tough start in life to finding homes for 25-year-old cats like Buddy, some days at the shelter can be hard and beautiful at the same time. Cassie talks about a day last year that was incredibly tough for our staff, but the team did what they needed to do to serve and honor beloved pets and the people who cared for them.
Not all days are easy, but as Cassie said “we have lives to save…gotta go back and we gotta do it again the next day” for the animals.
