Thank you everyone!!! Blackberry season has ended here at Barren River Berries. We are now closed for the season, but we have 16 bottles of fresh raw honey from our hive still available ($10/1 lb bottle) along with a few bags of Strawberry Granola and several jams and jellies. We also have lots of 4 lb bags of flash-frozen blackberries available for $20/bag. If you are interested in any of these please call me at 270-393-0210 and leave me a voice mail and we'll set up an appointment for pickups. Thanks again for a great 2024 Season!

Thanks to everyone for a great 2024 Season! We still have some blackberries coming in so if you are interested in u-picking or picking up pre-picked please send us a FB message and we'll set up an appointment for you to come out. We will not be having regular hours for the remainder of the summer but still have honey, jams and jellies, salsa and Shagbark Hickory syrup available so let us know what you need, and we'll get back with you to schedule your pickup. While we're open the next few days we will be having an End of Season Inventory Sale. Don't want to finish the season with jams, jellies or syrups left over. Current inventory of jams and jellies include: Jams-Strawberry (3), Triple Berry (2), Double Berry Jalapeno (12), Blueberry (4) and Blackberry (6). Jellie s- Elderberry (2) and Blackberry/Elderberry (2). Marked down to $5/ea. We have 6 bottles of Shagbark Hickory Syrup available at $7/bottle now (was $8).

Barren River Berries blackberry u-pick will be open Friday, July 12th until 5 pm and again on Saturday, July 13th from 8 am to 2 pm. The season is coming to a close so be sure and get out here and get your fresh blackberries before they are all gone! We'll have some pre-picked 1 lb packages available for pickup while we're open for $5/ea and we also have several 4 lb bags of flash-frozen blackberries available for your winter cobblers! They are $20/bag. If you are wanting pre-picked over the next week send us a message to order. We will be closing soon for the season!

Barren River Berries will be open (weather permitting) for blackberry u-pick this week on Monday, July 8th, Wednesday, July 10th and Friday, July 12th from 9 am to 5 pm and Saturday, July 13th from 8 am to 2 pm. We'll have prepackaged 1 lb blackberry containers available after 11 am Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Saturday prepackaged will be available after 9 am. If it's raining, we will be closed.

Customer Appreciation Days at Barren River Berries
Friday, June 28th from 1 to 6 pm and Saturday, June 29th from 8 am to 3 pm. Free scoop of homemade ice cream with purchase during event. (While supply lasts) Stop out and restock on some of your favorites...strawberry granola, fruit butters, Berry Bone Dog treats, fresh batches of Medium and Hot Salsa, Honey from our beehive and plenty of jams and jellies. Don't forget the Shagbark Hickory Syrup for those 4th of July cookouts! Perfect on your grilled chicken, pork or wings.

Monday u-pick will be available for blueberries only, Tuesday u-pick will be open for both blueberries and blackberries. U-pick is $4.00/lb. Frozen 5lb blueberry boxes available for $30. We'll have some 1 lb blackberry packages available at $5.00/ea. both days. Stay tuned for hours for the rest of the week and plans for a special event for Saturday, June 29th. We'll update later in the week but plan to be open on Saturday, June 22nd and will post hours later this week. Just a reminder that Barren River Berries will be open Thursday, June 13th for pickups only. We will have some pre-picked pints available as well as some 5 lb boxes of frozen blueberries. We have a large group coming in for a private u-pick event so no public u-pick on Thursday. We will be closed Friday, June 14th through Sunday, June 16th and will reopen on Monday, June 17th for blueberry u-pick from 10 am to 6 pm.

Barren River Berries will be open Monday, June 10th and Tuesday, June 11th for blueberry u-pick from 10 am to 6 pm. $4.00/lb and we'll provide containers for picking. We'll also have some pre-picked pints ($5) available for purchase. We will be finishing up on blueberry 5 lb box orders this week as well. No additional orders are being taken at this time. We will be open Wednesday and Thursday for pickups only and closed Friday through Sunday (June 14th-16th) Blackberries are coming along nicely and should be available soon! They will be available in 1 lb containers for $5 each.

Looks like the weather may be a bit better on Sunday for blueberry u-pick. Barren River Berries will be open from 1 to 4 pm. U-pick is $4.00/lb and we'll provide the bucket for picking. Also have some prepicked pints available for $5/ea and can be purchased tomorrow afternoon as well as many of our other goodies. We still have some strawberry slips in bundles of 25 plants available for purchase for your own garden. They are $5/bundle. U-pick this coming week will be announced Monday evening. We will be picking Monday for orders we have and will not be open for u-pick that day. Thanks to everyone that's been out so far this season! It's been a trying season with all the rain but the blueberries are liking it!

Raining right now so upick will not open at 10 am today, but we are open until 4 for pickups today. Barren River Berries Blueberry Field update for weekend of Saturday, June 1st and Sunday, June 2nd. We will be open for u-pick on Saturday from 10 to 4 (weather permitting) $4.00/lb u-pick, we'll provide bucket to pick with and a container to take them home in. If it rains we will close the field and retry for Sunday afternoon from 1 to 4. We'll have pre-picked pints ($5/ea) available for purchase Saturday morning beginning at 10 am until we run out. First come, first served on the pre-picked.

If you're interested in a small strawberry patch at your home we'll have bundles of strawberry slips available Saturday for pickup (25 slips per bundle for $5/bundle). First come, first served on the bundles. Those that contacted me today I have reserved those for you to pickup as we've arranged.
