What’s the best way to meet your neighbors lol and mess up your entire day? I have the perfect answer! You plan an awards banquet for your riding group at your old farm that is 2 hours away, you have your kids feed in the dark so they accidentally leave not 1, but TWO gates open and then you make sure you get an hour and a half towards the old place before your neighbor calls you. Neighbor says there’s about 8 horses in her yard and if I was missing any… crap… no clue. I’m assuming probably a yes since you’re calling 🙄🫣So. Reschedule the banquet and drive an hour and a half back home. Luckily the neighbor was able to get the horses locked up into a pasture down the road. My big Fjord was still hanging out at home, my old guys were still locked up in the small pasture- Zipp is colicing again. But the rest and the donkey were meeting the neighbors. Everyone back home and safe now 🙄 Freaking horses… more banamine for Zipp. I can’t afford another vet visit after having everything going on with the goats. But it’s gotta happen some how
