Here’s a little inside view of what my summer/downtime consists of when I’m not working. I’ve been sailing since I was 6 so this is my other passion in addition to animals. Most recently I have been sailing/racing on my brother Rob’s boat and sometimes my brother Mike’s. My kids have also been getting involved which I love. ❤️

I am so sorry I haven’t posted in such a long time. It has been so busy with work with so many finally getting back to traveling (wish I was one of them 🤣) and a tough year with my father’s illness and then his passing this past April…I turned 50 🤦🏻‍♀️, my daughter graduated and in two weeks we move her into college for the first time. 🥺 I am so proud and excited for her but going to miss her so much. Here are some pics from the past many months. Enjoy!

So you obviously know my love for animals…it’s why I chose to do what I do. Yes, I could be making so much more money if I continued in software at Microsoft but would I be happy? Probably not. Money doesn’t buy happiness. Yes it helps, but it just covers the surface. It can not transform your soul and give you the feeling everyday that you helped and made someone's life that much better and easier that day...either it be by helping the owners by giving them peace of mind and eliminating their stress of leaving their pets behind and not being able to care for them while they are gone...either it be for work, vacation, day trips, kids tournaments, etc. And then the care, happiness, and comfort you provide their pets when they are left home alone. I was blessed (sometimes it is a curse) with having a ton of empathy and it is perfect for what I do…it is needed for what I do. With that said, one of the hardest things I have to endure is the pain of one of my clients passing. It crushes me because I form a bond with each and every one of them. It’s like losing my own pet. Anyhow, Zen passed away a couple of weeks ago a few weeks after he was diagnosed with an aggressive cancer. No words can express how I felt when I received this from his owners.
