When it’s cold out, the hay truck pulls up and young and old alike just smile and climb into the hay loft to just knock it out!

Grateful to these troopers along with Eli (NP) who said we can knock out 100 bales in no time. Mission accomplished!

As you all know every year we have our contest to see who does the first fall of the new year.

Well 2025 started Friday with Riley who as you can see took it with a big smile and slight roll of the eyes… fell off last Friday.

We are going to record the top 5 and for 1st we did give Riley a medal this year.

Stalls Available at Spring Tide Farm

We rarely have openings, but due to recent sales, expiring leases, and some of our rider off to college or relocating, we now have three stalls available. Spring Tide Farm is the result of a lifelong passion for horses, riding, and fostering a supportive equestrian community. With over 50 years of experience in the Hunter/Jumper world, we take pride in providing exceptional care for horses and personalized support for riders of all levels.

Here’s what we provide:

Top-tier facilities: An 80 x 200 indoor riding hall, a 100 x 225 outdoor sand ring, turnout paddocks, and access to miles of trails adjacent to Wildcat State Forest. Our heated viewing room offers comfort year-round for riders and visitors.

Comprehensive, personalized care:

• All horses have their own individualized meal plan, designed in collaboration with their owner and our team.
• High-quality hay is provided at least three times a day.
• Daily turnout tailored to each horse's needs, ensuring their well-being and happiness.
• Experienced care, with the option for us to hold your horse for the vet or farrier when your schedule is busy.
• Laundry services available for blankets, pads, and other essentials.

Training and expertise: We specialize in starting young horses and their training, as well as helping riders and horses reconnect and restart their journey together.

Supportive community: A welcoming environment for riders of all levels, from beginners to advanced competitors, along with friendly neighboring stables and horse owners.

Whether you’re looking for a dry stall, leasing options, or full boarding with professional training, we offer flexible arrangements to meet your needs. We’ll work with you to make the transition seamless, whether it’s coordinating hay and shavings or designing a training schedule that works for you and your horse. If you’d like to learn more or schedule a visit, send us a message, and we’d be happy to answer your questions.

Spring Tide Farm is a family-run operation built on decades of passion and commitment. We care deeply about the horses we care for, the riders we support, and the community we’ve built.

Another huge thank you to Gwen who has taken many rides with Kathy to the shows this IEA season. She helps with the trailer, getting the horses prepped for loading, and for keeping Kathy company on the ride. Yesterday’s snow made it more of adventure than usual!

Thank you Gwen!! ❄️

The IEA show is tomorrow and we were so lucky to have so much help today!

It is late and need to get some rest and know we might miss a few names that we can update with show photos, but for this post we want to give many thanks to the Quigley family, Radford family, Macaux family, Briggs family, Young family, Biggart family, Cabralis’ family, Braylen, Daryna, Maya, Heather, Olivia, Betsy, Kolya, Steffie, and more.

Everyone came and cleaned and did all kinds of barn work! We are grateful to have such a wonderful barn family constantly here and we miss all the families who are at college, had their own family, moved etc., but we know you are still here!

In our equestrian world, we all have a bond even when we compete. Our friend Greg is facing a tough battle after his recent accident. He has gotten amazing support, and we would like to keep that going.

If you do nothing other than a good thought for him, he and his family will be thankful.

If you choose more than that, here is the link and you are more than welcome to share this to help with his recovery.

We thought someone was going to head back to his original farm but a big surprise and today Eli became the new owner of Tony the Pony (with his amazing mom and dad of course)

With horse superstition you must keep the secret and not talk about it until vet, paperwork, transfers etc. as you never know…

So with all that, Congratulations Eli!!
