🎃 Halloween Safety Tip for Pup Parents! 🍬👻 Halloween is full of treats for us—but not for our furry friends! Here are a few sweet tips to keep your dog safe and avoid any “tricks” this season:

🍫 Chocolate is a no-go! Even small amounts of chocolate (especially dark and baking chocolate) can be harmful for dogs. Keep those treats out of reach!

🍬 Watch out for Xylitol! This sugar substitute is found in a lot of sugar-free candies and can be toxic to dogs. Double-check that all candy is stored away in sealed containers.

🎉 Treats they CAN enjoy! Instead of human candy, try giving your pup a Halloween-themed dog treat, like a pumpkin-flavored chew or peanut butter biscuit! It’ll keep them happy and healthy while you’re handing out candy. 🐶🎃

👀 Safety First: Keep candy wrappers and treats off the floor and out of little paws' reach.

🍂🦠 Tick Protection for Your Pup This Fall! 🐾🍂

Just because summer’s over doesn’t mean ticks are gone! Fall is prime time for these pesky parasites, especially when your pup is out exploring those beautiful leaf piles and crisp trails. Here’s how to keep your dog safe and protected:

🐕 Check Regularly: After every outdoor adventure, give your dog a thorough check for ticks, especially around the ears, paws, and belly.

🦠 Use Preventatives: Make sure your dog’s flea and tick prevention is up to date. There are many safe options, from collars to topical treatments – ask your vet for the best one!

🌲 Stay Clear of Tall Grass and piles of leaves: Ticks love to hide in tall grass and brush. Keep your walks on clear paths whenever possible.
