Clients in northern Michigan

I am in beautiful Southern California and will be flying home on Thursday.

Whoever needs horses trimmed, which I think I have a list of about 14 horses right now, just reach out and get on my schedule before we take back off.

We will be back home full time by the first weekend of May, but May fly home sometime the end of February or in March to trim horses if there's enough of a need.

Thank you to my loyal clients for being patient and understanding while I nurse a bad back. 😣

🐴 Horses were not kind to be last week and after a series of tough horses another one je**ed just right and my back was done. I haven't been able to bend over and pickup the baby without yelping out in pain.

I've been seeing a chiropractor and it's slowly feeling better so hopefully when we return from the West Coast hauling horses it will be back to normal and I can get everyone scheduled. 🤞

Hey northern Michigan farrier clients,
I am hoping to be back to work the end of July if all goes well and will probably start scheduling horses soon for that time. 🐴

I'll be starting slow, not doing 20 horses in a day like I used to and am hoping to start with all my favorite well mannered horses, if your horse is not usually the best behaved, please take this time to work with them on standing for their feet so I can keep from getting hurt so soon after a c section and then I wouldn't be able to help anyone. 🤕

🥵 Also it's going to really suck coming back to work when everything is dry and horses feet are harder than an organic chemistry test, overflow your water tanks, put hoof dressing on a couple times a week, feed them gelatin or a hoof supplement, and last but not least please make sure you have fly spray when I come, I will be reminding people when we schedule too🪰

📱I made a post on my personal page but figured I probably should post a notice on here too. 😃

🤰 I'm currently on maternity leave and will probably not be back to work until close to mid-August. 🥵

😬 I've been trying to find farriers to cover for me and have not had a whole lot of luck, please reach out to me if you need any suggestions and hopefully I'll heal quickly from my C Section and be back at it on no time. 😎

🚛 As many of you know we have been hauling horses professionally across the country for the last almost 5 years and are taking a break for a little while. In the meantime I am looking to build my clientele back up. 🐴

🔨Currently prefer to stick with barefoot until I get my tools and capper switched over to my newer truck. 🛻

⚠️ Please no drafts unless they stand like an absolute angel. 👼

🗺️ Serving Boyne Falls and surrounding areas, most of my clientele is in Cheboygan and Onaway but I am willing to go as far as Claire, Midland and Cadillac. 🛣️

My specialty seems to be overgrown donkeys, if you have a donkey that needs care do not hesitate to reach out, I pass no judgment. 💚

⚒️ To my farrier clients, I'm so sorry if I didn't get to you before we had to leave to haul horses again! I was trying my best to get to everyone and got super sick and ran out of time. If all of you don't dump me and find someone else I'll get to you as soon as we get home. 😅

🙋‍♀️Hey Northern Michigan, as many of you know we started a horse hauling business a few years ago. After that I started cutting back on my farrier business and now after three years on the road we're hoping to be home more so I'm looking to rebuild my clientele. So on that note if you're looking for a farrier. 🐎

My trim prices are as follows....

💰 Two or more saddle horses, donkeys, minis, ponies mules, etc within two hours
$35 a horse

💰 Draft crosses $45 a horse

💰 Full draft horses $55 a horse

💰 Single horse stops $40 per horse

🔨 I haven't been shoeing since we've been hauling and don't want to start until we are home most of the time to be able to better care for our clients horses. 🍀

😃 Just a friendly reminder, horses should be trimmed every 6-8 weeks, stand well and please have horses caught when I arrive, thank you! 💚

As many as you know we've recently embarked on a new business venture transporting horses. We'll be home tomorrow sometime and will be around for a week before our next trip. I will be working very hard to schedule appointments and get everyone caught up that may have been postponed due to the weather and us being gone. Thank you everyone for your paintence and support as usual. I'm blessed to have so many great clients.

To all my wonderful clients who were understanding and supportive when I cancelled appointments to go help with animal rescue efforts after hurricane Harvey I seriously appreciate it. I will be working on getting my schedule put together for the coming weeks on our long drive home.
