Tongues out Tuesday 😝

This is Lola, she stopped in to see us due to an ocular issue. After performing an eye stain and a tonometry test (which checks the pressure in her eyes). It was determined that Lola had increased ocular pressure, potentially Glaucoma. With medications and regular check up with her regular vet this can be managed. We sure hope she is feeling better soon!

Hey y’all!!! This is hunter! He got really excited when he heard about all the food being served on thanksgiving and he accidentally ate a glove thinking it was a turkey. Luckily we were able to help him get it out and we sure hope he is feeling better today!!

Hey everyone!!! This gorgeous little friend is Kiki! We met her and her family tonight after she broke one of toe nails! Luckily her family brought her into us where we were able to smear her broken nail with lidocaine and then trim it back and place a bandage on her! We sure hope she is feeling better soon!!

Hey Y’all!! This is one of our newest best friend and we think she is purrfect!! We saw her recently for some eye issues! She and her pawrents allowed us to check for and scratches or other injuries to her eye and luckily we were able to prescribe some topical medications to go home and an injection while she was here. We really hope she feels better soon!!!

Biscuit 🐾🩵

Biscuit stopped in to see us due to limping. After our team performed radiographs it was determined Biscuit had fractured his paw. Our team placed a bandage to stabilize the fracture and our doctor prescribed medication to help with the pain. We are so happy we could help you on your road to recovery Biscuit ❤️‍🩹

Hey y’all!!! We got to see the cutest little puppy recently because she was having some tummy issues. We screened for parasites with a couple of tests and found out she had a couple of species of worms in her lil belly so we were able to treat her with some medications and send her right back home to play! We really hope she is feeling better soon!

Pet parents often ask, "What happens during my pet’s examination at UrgentVet?" Great question!

A veterinarian physical exam is a complete checkup to make sure your pet is in tip-top shape! The vet carefully examines key areas, like your pet's eyes, ears, nose, mouth, and teeth, looking for any signs of infection or illness. They’ll listen to the heart and lungs, check the skin and coat for parasites or any unusual changes, and gently feel the abdomen to make sure everything’s in order internally. The vet also checks joints and muscles to identify any pain or stiffness. Finally, if needed, a neurological exam is conducted for pets showing any signs of neurological conditions. This thorough approach helps catch any health issues early, keeping your pet happy and healthy for the long run.

Tate the cat got himself into quite a catch! 🐟

This adventurous kitty ran out of the house and came back with a fish hook stuck in his paw. His owner rushed him to UrgentVet, where we carefully removed the hook and made sure he was comfortable.

Hey y’all! This lil guy is names Crispy, and we saw his recently for some skin and allergy issues. He was such a sweet sweet boy that we all wanted him to stay with us forever! Thankfully we were able to treat him with a course of antibiotics and a Cytopoint injection. We love him and hope he is feeling better soon.

A bee tried to ruin Bentley’s walk, but we weren’t having it! 🐾 After limping into UrgentVet, we found a stinger lodged between his toes. We removed it, gave him a pain-relief injection, and now Bentley’s back to his playful self! 💙🐝
