Nico visited UrgentVet for some gastrointestinal upset. With a little peanut butter (Fear Free style, of course! 🥜🐾), we were able to keep him comfortable while we performed diagnostics to find the best treatment plan.
Now Nico’s heading home with the right medications and a belly on the mend! Feel better soon, buddy! ✨

Handsome 9-month-old Benny the Boxer came to UrgentVet with some irritation in his left eye. We performed a special stain test to check for a corneal ulcer — thankfully, none was found! 🙌
With the right eye medications in paw, Benny is on his way to feeling much better and keeping those big puppy-dog eyes bright and healthy. 🐾

Ginger came to UrgentVet after her paw started bothering her - she was limping and licking it more than usual, likely due to an allergic reaction. 💔 Our team quickly stepped in with medication to ease her discomfort and soothe those symptoms. 💊

She was an absolute sweetheart through it all, and we’re confident she’ll be back to bouncing around in no time. Feel better soon, Ginger! 💙

Yesterday, our team at UrgentVet Mckinney had the solemn honor of providing care for K9 Officer Azi, a devoted partner who gave his life in the line of duty. Azi was a hero, a protector, and a beloved member of the McKinney Police Department.

Our hearts go out to Azi’s handler, fellow officers, and all who knew and loved him. His dedication and bravery will never be forgotten.

Rest easy, K9 Officer Azi. You were deeply loved, and your service will always be remembered. It was a privilege to care for you.

🚨 OFFICIAL STATEMENT: OFFICER-INVOLVED SHOOTING 🚨

The McKinney Police Department has released an official statement regarding the officer-involved shooting that occurred on March 13, 2025, at the Red Roof Inn on 1300 North Central Expressway.

The investigation remains active and has been turned over to the Texas Rangers. There is no ongoing threat to the public.
