Sprakles was beyond excited to see her friends out in the pasture when she arrived. Unfortunately she has to be on stall rest for a while…but she’s HOME!!!

Thank you Gulf Coast Equine Veterinary Services, Inc. & Brandon Equine Medical Center for all the hard work you have done to take care of our horses ♥️🐴 you guys have been nothing but amazing!

Dr. Whitney (along with her veterinarian friend) came out the night that this all had happened. They took great care of all of the horses that night and Dr. Whitney still is caring for our sweet girl Naomi!

Sparkles is still in the hospital as of now. They are trying to remove the trach slowly and she is breathing on her own but not enough to have it removed yet. They also took her cast off to take a look and clean it up. She still has to keep a cast on as the laceration was very deep. She still has a LONG road but is slowly recovering ♥️🐴🪽

Many of you have been asking for updates on our horses, and we’re happy to share their progress. Our 8 horses that were on the trailer during the accident were Cloud, Sparkles, Conga, Wahoo, Rowdy, Naomi, Alibi & Hoss.

Sparkles is still at the hospital recovering, but has been able to eat hay on her on, which we are all so happy to hear.

The rest of the group is back home. Their wounds have been cleaned and cared for, though they still have stitches, bandages, and some battle scars.

Cloud misses Sparkles. And Alibi misses Hoss deeply… As we work on mending hearts…
We are doing our best to help them heal emotionally as well as physically.

Our journey to recover from the trauma is still in the very beginning. As the horses will remember the trauma they went through while traveling, we will have to work with each one of them to heal their relationship with the trailer & being tied.

Your continued support means the world to us and to them. Every bit of love and care goes towards their recovery. ❤️‍🩹

We want to take a moment to show our deep appreciation for our amazing haulers and team. Our haulers are the ones who ensure our horses travel safely every day to the beach.
If it wasn’t for them we would never have the opportunity to experience the magic that happens between the water and the horses. 🌊🐴✨
Any time you ever come and ride with us, either Heather, Ashley, or Jimmy are the ones who keep our horses safe through the traffic—on every journey, from Myakka to the Causeway Beach in Bradenton.

Accidents can happen in an instant, and this brings us a much-needed perspective. We are forever grateful for our haulers, not just for the work they do, but for the care and bravery they show every single trip. We also want to remind everyone to drive carefully—not only for your own safety but for the safety of all those on the road.

We are incredibly thankful that our team is safe and healing after the recent, very traumatic experience. Your support means the world to us, and to them. 🙏

We would like to say an IMMENSE thank you to each and every one of you that have taken the time to share, donate, and support our family & horses. We can’t even believe how incredibly supported we have been by our community. In tough times, we are feeling hugged and helped by each one of you. 🫂❤️‍🩹

It has been our privilege to be beach horseback riding outfitters to other companies for over 7 years. We are now out on our own and offer unique horseback riding experiences in Bradenton Florida to create beautiful memories for you and your family. 😍

With over a decade of horse handling experience and a fully trained staff, we offer many unique beach horseback rides for the young, old, beginner, and experienced.

Your safety is our first priority on and off the horse. All of our equipment is wiped down and sterilized after every use and hand sanitizer is on-site at all times.

Our loveable beach horses range from all different breeds and sizes! This diversity makes it an enjoyable experience for every rider. Some of the horses are wider to support more weight, while others are small and petite, perfect for children.
