Christmas came early here at Nate's 🥰 Our volunteers and staff are busy caring for this sweet mama and her 6 newborn puppies this holiday season. Around-the-clock care is needed to make sure mama is strong and healthy and her babies are getting everything they need.

We didn't receive ANY foster applications from our recent plea. Our staff are working overtime to ensure she's comfortable after her recent eye surgery, but we're hoping to give her a warm home for the holidays. If you're thinking about making a difference in a shelter dog's life, now is the time! If not now, please share to make a difference.

Upon completion, our expansion project will double our capacity so we can double our impact, with major site improvements throughout to better serve our animals and our community.

Meet MayMay 🩷 After having a full litter of pups who have all since been adopted, she's still here waiting for her perfect family...
She's had a hard time adjusting to shelter life, but thanks to a wonderful foster, we've gotten to see her personality shine through.
MayMay is working on her leash-walking skills but she loves walks and playing fetch. She can be a bit selective with other dogs, so she'll need a family who understands her unique needs and can give her the love and patience she deserves. But at only 5 years old, she still has so much love left to give. She just needs the right family. A family with the patience to show her that it's okay to open up and feel safe, and one to give her the chance to feel at home again.

Sweet Snickers arrived at our shelter with a story that broke our hearts 💔🐱 At 12 years old, she's only known the warmth and love of her person – until the day that all changed.
Her beloved owner passed away, leaving Snickers heartbroken and confused, wondering where her best friend went.
She’s gentle, wise, and full of love, just hoping for a new forever family to help her feel safe again.
