RABIES ALERT:
A feral cat with suspected rabies symptoms was discovered in the area of 57th Court East in Palmetto and taken to Manatee County Animal Welfare to be observed. Following testing by Florida Department of Health (DOH), the cat was found to be infected with rabies.
All domestic animals are required by law to be vaccinated against rabies and all wildlife contact should be avoided, particularly raccoons, bats, foxes, skunks, otters, bobcats and coyotes.
If you come upon an animal that appears to be infected, keep a safe distance away and please call 941-742-5933, ext. 1

The men's shoe bins at Turning Points are practically empty! Please go through your closets and bring us your gently used sneakers and casual shoes. Or hold a shoe drive at your business, school, or church.
You can drop off your donation Mon-Fri 8:30-4pm at the Donation Center which is right next to our main building at 705 17th Ave West in Bradenton. THANK YOU!
