Yup! If you're new to the breed, a standard size is probably what you've seen the most, and yes they can get pretty big! But doodles range in sizes from petite, miniature, medium, and standard.

This dog is amazing. Sooooo smart. She has learned all the commands. Walks great on a leash. I groomed her myself last week and she stood still for an hour. I clipped her nails and brushed her teeth. What is a Guardian Home?
Our Guardian Program is designed to allow us to add moms and dads to our breeding program without being a kennel-like operation.
Guardian homes must meet 2 requirements;
-Have a fenced in yard or access to an enclosed area for exercise.
-Live within one hour of Bradenton, FL
Guardian Families are carefully chosen based on a desire to have our moms and dads living in a loving, nurturing, and enriching environment. Once we have approved a Guardian Home, we work closely with the family to ensure that the puppy/dog is receiving plentiful exercise, great nutrition, and socialization. All of these factors are important, not only for the happiness of the particular puppy/dog, but because a happy and fulfilled dog will produce healthier, more content and stable puppies. When we place a puppy with a Guardian Home, the puppy is given at NO COST, but the Guardian Home is responsible to take care of all of the puppy's needs (vet, food, etc) at their expense. We cover the cost for any expenses directly connected to breeding. Once all of the contractual obligations have been met, we sign ownership over to the Guardian Home.

Genetic testing is the analysis of an animal's DNA to identify specific genetic mutations or variants associated with certain diseases or traits. It plays a crucial role in animal health by detecting hereditary diseases that may not be immediately apparent in a puppy, predicting the likelihood of developing certain health conditions in the future, and allowing breeders to make informed breeding decisions to reduce the risk of passing on genetic diseases.

𝗢𝗸𝗮𝘆, 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗢𝗙𝗔 𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴?

The Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) conducts veterinary-reviewed health screenings for dogs, including tests for hip and elbow dysplasia, patellar luxation, cardiovascular health, and eye conditions. OFA testing is important because it identifies orthopedic conditions that can significantly impact a dog's mobility and quality of life. It also provides breeders with an objective assessment of the health of their breeding stock, helping them avoid breeding dogs with inherited orthopedic issues.

Transparency and accountability in providing test results demonstrate the breeders' dedication to ethical breeding practices. Moreover, genetic and OFA testing provide peace of mind to prospective owners, assuring them of their puppy's health. A Loving Message from your Fur-baby: (Please take your baby for walks very early in the morning or evening time but still be cautious and aware of the surface you are walking them on ❤️)

Dear Mom and Dad,
Let me stay home. It's not nice for me to walk and run next to you. But because I am a loyal dog, I often go beyond my limits. So I walk and run beside you, standing still if I have to. All while I feel my paws burning.

Even as little as 5 minutes can be fatal to me and to my paws. I sweat through my paws, and in the heat I just can not get rid of the sweat. My whole body starts boiling, but I’ll keep going because I am as loyal as loyal comes. When you look at me panting and moving around you think I’m excited to be out here walking or running with you and I am, I promise you I am, but it’s more that I can’t cool off and my feet are in severe pain. My paws are literally cooking.

By the time we have gotten home my paws have been burning the entire duration we were out, my tongue is dry and my head is pounding in the heat that my body cannot get rid of.

You know when you ask if I want to go for a walk or a run I will instantly jump up and want to go because I love you so much and I love these activities but I also don’t know what awaits me. I depend on you to know what’s in my best interest. So instead, let me stay at home where I can enjoy the sun, with a large bowl of water, somewhere in the shade. A cool area with grass would be best.
