This is Buddy a Belgian Malinois that was extremely human and dog reactive with a hair trigger and would aggressively lash out at everything.
I spent a session teaching him to trust me and to stop trying to bite me.
Soon after we did a short board and train to continue in the trust department and quickly won him over with teaching him a few relationship building and mental training exercises that builds trust to give his mind something else to do other than threats of violence because of being insecure and unconfident.
Our follow up session with him and his owner were delayed because of work schedules but it was a FABULOUS session
and was able to show all the do's and don'ts on a walk in their gated community and used the training from the board and train to eliminate all of his previous nemesises and triggers that sent him spiraling out of control.
We went through what to do in real time from start to finish when encountering other aggressive dogs with bad intentions aswell as little happy dogs and got exactly the mindset and calmness Buddy and his owner were needing!
5 star βοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈ results!
And being totally neutral to people entering and exiting the pool was a nice bonus because that never happened without blowups.
Buddy and his owner have a bad reputation inside their gated community and even had a lady pull her phone out to record as evidence of Buddy exploding on her but it never happened!π€π€πππ
Buddy's owner didn't know the lady was recording until I told her and that she didn't get the results she was hoping for or expecting.ππ
Because he remained neutral where he would have 100% went crazy, she got people doing double takes out of shock and lots of smiles and waves for the first time ever from all the passerbys in her community.πππ
You could literally see Buddy's owner's heart smile along with her face from ear to ear!.........Proud Mamma right there!
π―π―π―This is EXACTLY why I do this!!!
Kennel command from a little over 50 yards away on a field he's only been on for a few minutes to run around on and stretch.
There could have been other cars parked near mine and he'd still find my vehicle and hus Kennel.
He's done it many times at futher distances and on other sides of buildings out if view.
Hoya does the same!
I mainly teach it for people who let a car load of dogs off leash onto a field I'm already training or playing on with my dog.
The moment I see dog owner stupidity I send my dog off field to my vehicle knowing they will go immediately and when I get there I close their door or I can use my car remote to close the back hatch when he or she loads up.
I've lost count of how many times I've had to do this over the years!
So I did training sessions for a dog that I was only supposed to board with me for 5 days but needed training to gain trust while staying with me because doing the bare bones feeding, watering and going outside to potty was a huge gamble but got through the aggression episodes.
This was his first time ever learning a place command.
I was glad we made huge progress in such a short period of time and that the blowups went to zero after the second day of training with him and he was able to really relax and not have a hair trigger.
Obviously there's more work to be done and more fast improvements to be made in hopefully more private one on one sessions in the near future with him and his owner along with showing and giving beneficial information to improve both of them on the do's and don'ts.
I have a few fields I've found for clients in the Bradenton Florida area for anyone needing high quality dog training.
I'd love to help you and your dogs!

Grizzly practicing his fairy new place command that can easily expand into other very fun desirable engagement behaviors while teaching him trust, commitment, respect, patience, problem solving and
π·οΈMost Importantly!π·οΈ
the desire to enthusiastically want to work with his owner while building and strengthening their relationship together.
The true power lies within establishing and maintaining Basic Obedience throughout the day and consistently backing up what you know they already know how to do on a daily basis!
Practice......Practice.....Practice!ππ

Pretty much my personal dog Qudavi's first time being taught impulse control with new distractions he's never seen or heard before to build his confidence for a calm relaxed mind under stressors for the protection sport he's training for.
The art of ignoring low, medium and high levels of environmental distractions/temptations/arousal/ stressors while waiting ONLY to be released from a command with the word "FREE!"πππ
We only got junk mail today!π
Just a short send out with Qudaviπ at a new field to us here in Florida.
Glad to see he still remembered how to do that on his first time in a very long time!πππ
Qudavi's first time swimming at the beach today.
He had a blast!
Him and Hoya will be getting out a lot more and going to fun places and doing fun things aswell as training.
Hoya's first beach day today!
She hasn't swam in years but she'll get really good at it again soon enough.
Fun with one of the ways I can choose for send outs foundation work with my dog in different environments.
Our stuctured night walks are enjoyable for both of us year round!
Get out there where it's relatively dog free with your headlamps and your dogs!
They'll appreciate it!π¦πΎπ£
So when I work with a independent semi stubborn dog I like to work on their weeker behaviors so that if and when the dog begins to show signs of confusion or stress we can momentarily stop training and "walk it off" instead of staying in one area where all the confusion and stress in all in one place with little to no outlet at all to regain a clear open mind for the dog aswell as the trainer or owner working with the dog.
As we're walking I randomly ask them to perform the things that they are capable of doing successfully and then revisit the problem areas just as randomly while continuing to go for a walk and working on both strong areas that they have and their weeker areas.
It's very beneficial using the stress walk-off release method which helps a lot with them being able to clear their mind knowing they aren't getting drilled solely on the areas they are struggling with at the moment.
You can always get the dog and yourself a clean slate by only doing a few random things as your walking with the dog or just go for a walk without injecting any kind if obedience training at all.
Luke has learned fairly quickly how to just relax around my dog when normally he would have been a nervous reactive stressed out dog like he was the first time they met but not anymore!β€οΈ
This would not be successful without my stable/neutral dog that listens to me and respects the directions I give her during each one on one encounter with Luke ensuring that every encounter is a positive one so that Luke can have calmness and security in his mind around another dog.
These are just the beginning steps to a more confident and secure Luke!
You can't just "wing it!" And hope for the best and expose numerous dogs to a unconfident dog and ("let them work it out") because that's 99.9% of why the dog is unconfident and doesn't feel safe around other dogs to begin with.
Their are steps and stages that can't be skipped for successful long term dog neutralization.
