Madi is working on some recall games today! She is learning to stop what and where she is going and to return to her handler. We even worked on some off leash positions and holding them until released or told to come.

Marley went to Tom Bennett Park to work on some obedience around some big distractions at the park. We worked on recall games, place, and holding positions at a distance.
Marley went to Pet Supermarket for a field trip
Marley went to Pet Supermarket to work on her obedience and being my nonreactive to strangers. We worked on holding our positions, handler engagement, and heeling with automatic sits.
Tucker went to Tractor Supply to work on his leash manners and confidence in public!

Crate conditioning with Bailey
Bailey has a hard time with crating at home. Today we worked on teaching her it is fun to go into the crate and hang out in it. We worked on a few drills and took a time lapse of her just chilling in it. Good girl!
Ranger working on doorbell drills
Ranger is working hard at her doorbell drills today! She is learning when there is commotion at the door after a doorbell goes off or there is knocking, the best job to do is go to her place and remain until her handler frees her.

Marley’s Field Trip to TSC
Marley took a field trip to Tractor Supply Co today! She is working hard on gaining more confidence and exposure with an end goal of not being so reactive to humans. She worked hard on holding her sit and positions, heeling with automatic sits, and most of all people watching!

Madi went to Creekwood Park to work on her obedience in a distracting setting and to work on some of her dog reactivity. We worked on handler engagement, holding our sit and down positions, heeling with automatic sits, and short distance recalls.

Ranger went to Pet Supermarket today to work on her obedience in a distracting setting. She is learning how to stay focused and engaged even when there are lots of smells and exciting sights around. She worked on holding her sit and down positions, heeling with automatic sits, recall, and urban place.
Bailey’s Field Trip to Pet Supermarket
Bailey went to Pet Supermarket today to work on confidence building and exposure. We focused on being able to heel with her handler even when she is spooked and nervous. We also worked on her holding her sit position to help create a picture of healthy independence as well.

Marley is working on her place drills around some outdoor distractions from the neighborhood today! She is learning how to engage with her handler and to stay focused on her job despite what other stuff may be happening around her.

Ivy is working on her place command today too!
She’s a little further along than Tucker so we’ve not only introduced the command “place”, but also introduced corrections when she breaks it.
