We are a non-profit organization that is not State funded and is run mostly on donations.

Volunteers wishing to walk dogs may do so between the hours of 12pm and 3:30pm, Tuesday through Sunday. Volunteers must be 18 or older and bring photo ID.

Our Story

The McKean County SPCA is an 501(c) status animal shelter in northern Pennsylvania. We generally house about 60 dogs and almost 85 cats. We exist to help animals, and the well-being of the animals in our care is our top priority. We are their voice! Our staff go above & beyond to care for the animals. We couldn’t do this without them or our community!
