February is Dental Awareness Month! 🦷
Like humans, keeping up with your pet's teeth is very important!

Here are a few things that can help prevent tarter and plaque build-up at home:

🐾Brush your pet's teeth daily
(You can get cat and dog toothbrushes at your local vet clinic along with toothpaste that each of them will like.)
🐈Add Perio powder to their food to help get to the teeth you are unable to reach
🐶Give your pets dental treats like Veggie Dents for dogs or Purina Crunchy Bites for cats

Things to keep track of yearly with your vet clinic:

🦷Make sure to bring your fur babies in once a year for teeth cleanings.
🐾Make sure to have their annuals each year so your veterinarian can check their teeth and gums.

With those easy steps taken your pet mouth will be healthier then ever with improved breath and brighter smiles!

🐈 Meanwhile, the Cat Lovers Basket features a handmade cat toy from our very own Eileen Kohanski and her mother, Beverly Kohanski, catnip, a funny cat-shaming calendar, a cute kitchen towel, a stainless steel travel mug, and a $25 gift card to Hungry Bear Pub & Grill.

To enter, a donation of $5 to Pets In Transition will earn you a raffle ticket for your preferred basket.❤️ Donations can be made by visiting the clinic or calling 802-222-4903.

🚨Important weather update #2 for pet pawrents! 🚨

Due to Frosty the snowman visiting, we will be closing early today!
Here’s our current plan🐾

❄️We are closing an hour early, around 5:00 pm. Depending on weather and cancelations we might close earlier than 5:00 pm.

❄️If you do not feel safe driving, please call the clinic to let us know! (we will not be counting any canceled appointments as same-day cancellations for appointments canceled due to the weather)

Please call the clinic before coming in unless you have an appointment to make sure we are still open!

If you have to drive today, we want to ensure everyone is safe, as Frosty the Snowman is visiting.

Here’s our current plan🐾

⛄️We are still open! We plan on staying open as of right now. If the weather changes or gets worse we might close early for safety.

Hey everyone, it's Victor again🐾 I wanted to pop on to talk about these cold months. (But I had to do this while no human was looking )

I wanted to remind you that if you are cold, your ruler..... I mean "pet", might be cold too. So let me give you some winter reminders:

🦋Salt poisoning: Dogs can lick salt from their paws after walks and the salt or other things that melt snow can hurt our paws too.
🦋We can get frostbite too! Make sure not to leave your "pets" outside too long, even the dogs, no matter what they tell you. 🙄
🦋Antifreeze: It just tastes so good to us. So PLEASE make sure to keep it in places we can't reach.

Those are just some reminders I wanted to mention. Make sure your "pet" AKA human ruler is safe these winter months.
