Are you looking for a cute holiday gift this coming season? Have we got the solution for you!

BVC is preparing a 2025 Calendar of our adorable client pet photos, and the voting polls open today. We will be choosing 12 pets to be featured in our annual calendar, and YOU can help. It’s easy, simply "like" your favorite photo to rack up those points.

Want the opportunity to give your favorite a boost? You can buy more votes by giving a donation to our Pets In Transition program (call the clinic or stop in to donate as each dollar donated buys an extra vote for your favorite pet photo!)

Voting runs until November 7th, and we will announce the winners the next day. Thank you to everyone who submitted photos this year and to everyone who will be voting.

National Veterinary Technician Week is coming to a close, but we still have one more important member of our team to celebrate. Please join us in recognizing Dayna for the rock star that she is!

Dayna joined our BVC family in 2019 working in reception as well as moonlighting as a kennel attendant. She branched out quickly and embraced the role as our main Laser Therapy Specialist all while training in her spare time to be a Veterinary Technician Assistant. Longing to soak up all of the knowledge she can, she has now become one of our Dental Surgery Technicians and is even training to work more with anesthesia to tackle that trait when needed!

When doing personality tests, Dayna is marked as our "entertainer" and the results are not wrong. She always keeps our team chuckling and does her best to make the trickiest situations positive. She is a favorite to many of our clients for her caring, upbeat, and glowing personality.

When she is not working at the clinic, Dayna loves spending her time with her fiancé and their multiple animals on the family farm. You may have even met her fur baby Toa when she has brought him in for help with BVC videos or just to lift our spirits.

Please help us in showing our gratitude for Dayna by sending some love and appreciation her way when you are visiting us again!

Today for National Veterinary Technician Week, join us in acknowledging Josh and all he does for our team.

Josh started working at BVC in early 2017 as a Kennel Attendant and has worked hard through the years devoting his time and energy as our former Kennel Manager which helped mold him into the well-rounded Veterinary Technician Assistant he is now.

His love and dedication to all the animals he encounters has easily earned him the nickname of our "Cat Whisperer", recognized by his team as well as the community we serve. Josh has a special draw to our exotic clients as well. He is always eager to engage with the likes of ball pythons, corn snakes, and hog-nosed snakes, as well as hedgehogs, bearded dragons, and tortoises!

Outside of the clinic, he spends quality time with his kids (both human and furry), and recently added a new furry addition named Ivar. Ivar came to our clinic as a kitten needing extra therapeutic support and Josh immediately fell in love.

Please help us give Josh a big thank you for being part of the BVC family and sharing his warm heart with all.

Today for National Veterinary Technician Week, we invite you to join us in celebrating Haley.

Haley has been with BVC since 2015 and is often referred to as our “Jill-of-all-trades”. Not only is she one of our star Veterinary Technician Assistants, she also helps as a Client Relations Specialist as well as our main Groomer.

Haley is passionate about advocating for all of the animals that come through our door and makes it her personal duty to ensure efficient, top-quality care during their stay. She also makes efforts to monitor client pamphlets with updated information to ensure any questions can be answered with ease and comfort.

When Haley isn’t at the clinic, she enjoys spending quality time with her children and loved ones. She loves being outside, staying active, appreciating wildlife, and can be seen on the softball field each season!

Huge shout out to Haley, this week, and all the year through as she continues to be an asset to our team and our lives. Thank you, Haley!!

As we continue celebrating National Veterinary Technician Week, we want to spotlight another rockstar on our team, Kristin.

Kristin joined our clinic in 2017 and worked as a receptionist while completing her degree at Vermont Technical College. She graduated in 2020 and has continued to bring her skills and knowledge to our team every day.

Kristin can be seen assisting Dr. Tullar during appointments, but also monitors your pet during surgical procedures and often updates you with their progress at discharge. She is consistently advocating for your pets and always suggesting new improvements so that your pets is most comfortable while they are with us.

Her love for animals and her dedication to the team is seen each day as she pushes herself to continue growing and teaching others.
Outside of the office, Kristin enjoys a good movie marathon with friends and always looks forward to spending time with those she loves. Please help us to thank Kristin for all she adds to our team today and every day!

It’s National Veterinary Technician Week! This week we will be showing a little extra love to our technician team and today we are starting the spotlighting with Krystle.
Krystle joined our team in 2014 and through her 10 years with us has expanded her knowledge and grown along the way.

She has earned the title of Technician Manager and has also become a Certified K9 Behaviorist. She embraces learning new skills and focuses on bringing that knowledge to our team by training them in various areas such as best dental-surgical practices.

She loves all pets as if they were her own and has been known to adopt many of those who come through our doors in need of forever homes to add to her family.

When Krystle is not working hard at the clinic she spends her time with her 3 amazing children on her farm of 3 dogs, 1 pony, 5 goats, 1 rabbit, 1 turtle, 2 tortoises, 3 cats, many chickens!!

And if that wasn’t enough, she is also expecting another human addition at the end of this year. Congratulations! 🍼🎉
Please Join BVC as we celebrate Krystle and appreciate her for all that she brings to the table within our BVC family!

Did you know that October is National Pet Wellness Month?!
We are trying to bring extra attention to promoting healthy lifestyle choices for your pets--and a big part of this includes anything that they are eating. Pets diets do not just reflect the kibble or wet food you choose but their overall diet extends to their treats and supplements as well.
Dr.Tullar is here to highlight one of our favorite supplements which helps to promote a healthy hydration level in cats.

Everyone thinks they have the best pet, and none of them are wrong!

Would you like the chance to prove to others what you already know to be true? We are currently generating a 2025 calendar that will be available for purchase just in time for the holidays. 📅

All proceeds raised will be used towards our Pets In Transition program where we help treat animals in need who are transitioning into rehabilitation centers as well as sick animals who can no longer be cared for by their owners.

📷🐹 We are looking forward to seeing your pets’ best side; the more creative, cute, and crazy the better! Share with us the best photos of your dog, cat, parrot, bearded dragon, snake, hamster or any of your pets that come to our clinic. You know we love them ALL and we want to see them ALL!

📧 Nominations will be accepted until October 31st and we will open up the voting for November 1st through November 8th. Submitting your photos is as easy as emailing [email protected] with your name, your pet's name, and the photo you think will reel in the votes.

Guidelines for voting on each social media platform will be announced on November 1st, so be sure to follow our Facebook and Instagram to stay in the loop!
